Thread: Basic animation questions??? | Forum: Animation
Quote - Philip,
I got a 1tb internal hard drive just for the purpose of poser renders.
I use Vegas movie studio for editing and render to AVI or Mov files, which ever gives the highest resolution for the upload or dvd or whatever. For youtube i only need to click once in a drop down menu and it uploads it for me automatically, (high rez):o)
The size limit is 50 megs here at renderosity, so; I just look at what ever codec that will yeild the highest resolution at that limit or below. takes 5-10 minutes.
Vegas movie studio by Sony, wonderful program!!! I use it myself, you render and edit just about any format, I love it!!! I need to upgrade again soon. One of my favorite features in the program is the video overlay, allowing you to compose complex animated scenes with .png layering! For example, a battle with 100's of knights on horseback, 100's of archers, catapults, etc.

**marineguy,
One other option is to look at the "aniMate" plug-in by GoFigure! Although it is made for animating figures, it can also be an endless source of still poses!!! They are a huge number of aniBlocks to choose from. You can go through the aniBlocks and save any frame as a pose!! All aniBlocks are done from motion capture and will do away with that "stiff look"!!
Ckeck your version of DAZ | Studio, to see if you have Lite version aniMate first!!!!!**

Quote - Hi All,
I'm a newbie here and to DAZ. I've managed to illustrate images for a book of mine and I'm startig to see limitation in DAZ that, from what I read, don't exist in Carera or Poser. I spend a ton of time getting my figures in the right poses or can't find poses online.
What should be my next step. If you look at my Gallery, you're welcome to comment or maybe give me a hint on how to expand so I can do things like some of the people here. Any help is appreciated.

Personally, I find DAZ | Studio to be more versatile then Poser as far as posing figures!!!! Posing figures is not one of my strong points either!!! I try to using a pose close to my needs and then use "Power Pose" to finish up. Check out the tutor on "Power Pose" if you haven't already.

Works in DS2 and DS3 and works with figures as well as props! Just went in my cart! I'll post my results on this later.
Thanks, it's a wonderful thing!!! :>

You should have no problem removing stuff from your "runtime" if you use the "Read Me" files as a guide. Be careful if you have a number of items from the same freebies vendor, they sometimes share the same folder and you may delete something you intend to keep!!
I do it every once in a while to remove the useless "Sludge" from DAZ | Studio, and then defragment my drive.

Hello all, my first time in the forum and I must say, I never thought in my wildest dreams that I'd by oh so amused!! Tyger_purr's render is worth a thousand words. This subject likes, the house so artisticly depicted is DEAD! Maybe it's just me but, I thought the creation of Renderosity was to provide ALL arts with an online COMMUNITY so that they may SHARE their ablities as arts as a hole!!!!
