Ok, just checking now some of the points:
1 - happens to freeze when I close one document and open a new empty...happens like 80% of the time.While doing that.

I use, as above i wrote: Ati radeon from XFX with 2GB ram the graphic/video card. NOT Nividia!

I have OS Win 7 Pro -64 bits, Running with 8Gb Ram and a video card from Ati XFX 4870/2GB in it-
I do have the latest drivers in all my system, includes the patch for P8. Still I have same problem as
**NT110 **describes here. I have check it all inclusive I look up the <task Manager to see how much P8 is taking from my CPU (QuadCore6600) results: takes lots of memory up to 6 Gb sometimes but the CPU is always being use max 35% usually is around 29% of it while P8 is rendering. (BTW the render I'm using the max. in FIREFLY for all except inderect light, displament map on, 128 bucket size, HSV and exponential) I like to make big pz3 so the mediun sizes of my render are 140,117 KB (with 1800px and 150 dpi).
I have still not manage to fix it.
The pacht fixed the 'refresh' crash in the libraries. Fix the total crash of the program sudenlly. Still freezing and I have to kill the program as NT110 says he does.
Any news towards the problem is very welcome.

Something like how to make a cloth from V2 fit dynamically into V4 for example, plus using the force wind and wave...so that's my struglle at the moment but I'll get there.

I'm into the RFM, and oh! good more you read more you see how much you DON'T KNOW...I'm trashed....
Since 1 Pm today I'm testing and testing now it's 3 Am...you see! I so far did as much trash as I could...nothing seems to work...
I'm using the tutor from here, 'where you can import a 'obj' from any model to make it dynamic and for V4 (in my case at least...) From 8 of it only 2 went ok (well NOT POK, but at leastdid fall in peices or went totally crazy with meshes everywhere. I'm doing by the book as the help files teachs...
Also try, and will try more and more the wind force in clothes..so far a disater!

so far nothing goes right!!!
My cloth room freezes or won't make the stuff (regarding the 'conform' clothes to transform then into dynamic) others...like real dynamic it does the job.
Problem is that no even ONE dynamic cloth is really beautiful for V4.
All I got here from freebies are nothing special (sorry! don't want to hurt anyone, but I'm searching for something really special, something that I can make a  TRANS MAp for it and will result in a nice sexy gown or also a witch /angel gown.
I had made about 15 different tries between conforming clothes and also hairs...using the tutorial from PhilC for it and his 'wind force' tutor.

I end up tired and frustrated about...the wind force won't work in the entire hair (use from diverse hairs).
My plan is to make a V4 with a head down so the hair will fall over her face towards the floor.
So far ONLY frustration...:(
As said, I'll stick with the conform clothes for V4..so far.
V3 has a bunch of good, special clothes (dynamic) for her..but her young sister does not!
well ...back to square one!

well that a bit late now...the last I remeber was at 'callad' gallery. As I said did happen before. I'll make a note of the URL next time ok?

I read at your tutor:

Collision Offset:- Increasing will make the dress stand further away from the skin.

Collision Depth:- Higher will give the effect of thicker cloth.

Forgive my ignorance, but I can't find where are  these two above in the Cloth Room. Is there a new name for it now? PoserPro7.3 and/ or  Poser8.

I did! I try at least 3 differents meshes (conforming clothes that importing as object will become, hopefully a dynamic one!)
1- the AS skirt did not perform well..so I forget it..
2- the other two skirts I did enter as object all 3 very same procedure! did well...but I did forgot to 'collide against' the floor too so now I'm fixing that...but in 30 frames did very well indeed. Point: the skirts where for for same figure V4. So not yet made a try with different model clothe to V4, yet! I'll,
Actually I found a tutorial here; where says make the model 'get' into the clothe..and then in the nxt 20 frame make the model at its normal full figure....it work wonders! I had to  twich a bit after..like making the hips a bit bigger and so..but that's gave me a fantastic result.

still in cloth room..takes forever to make a calculation of the dynamics...a simple skirt..simple but quite draped etc...
after several freezes and re-starting the Poser...
