Well I have a few I worked on some time ago, I don't remember if it was a commission or not.
And I have on my gallery too
Thread: Poser 7 torpedoed by Microsoft | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
You are really missing the point.
All versions of Linux are required to have the source code for everything available to anyone that wants it. Linus Torvolds set that is stone with the GNU license. Maybe you should read about that....
99.99% of the drivers have the source code available and there are alternatives to the .01% that the source code has yet to be released. The biggest offenders of this are video card drivers. And I would bet that you have a certified driver installed for your video card that the source code is in that .01% How are you going to inspect the code in that?
Debian's philosophy is not that much different from other destros, but the campaign to slam others is.
Maybe you should be running this http://www.damnsmalllinux.org/ It is fits what you claim would be the best Linux to run..... It is based on the Debian core, and does not have any "blob" in it at all. The whole thing is about 50 megabytes and will scream on a 486 with 128 meg of memory..............
Too much incorrect information in a single post. Not all opensource is GNU or follow the GNU license, Ubuntu doesn't, not 100% (they include closed Nvidia drives, among others https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CP8CNp-vksc) Linus Torvalds (not Linus Torvolds) created the Linux Kernel, not GNU, that's Richard Stallman, he leads the GNU project and the Free Software Fundation.
Again, mixing technical points of view with philosophical points of views.

There are hundreds, thousands perhaps, of forum threads and discussions filling the internet about this subject, or I should say all of the subjects being thrown in here, ranging from technical (security, features, desktop use capacity) to philosophical (freedom, open source, ethics).
It feels like a Windows vs Linux debate from 1999 around here...

For those that want to see how "secure" Debian Linux supposedly is, look at this page.
https://packetstormsecurity.com/files/os/debian/
Have a look around, then ask yourself if Windows ever had that many updates to plug holes............................
As both a windows and linux user (at work and at home), a Microsoft certified developer and an open source enthusiast (Microsoft actually has a lot of open source material), I can tell you that statement is one of the biggest misconception regarding security. You don't ever read about Windows (or Mac) security holes not because they don't exists, they simply are not looked upon until something bad happens, or they have big enough security patch so release a windows update.
If you could take a look at Windows source code, the way you can with Debian, you would end up with a list of bugs and security holes at the very least as big as that, but probably much much bigger.
Thread: Pose problems after deactivating IK | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I was afraid that was the case. My current workaround is to save all key frames poses to the library (by saving it as an animation) before turning off IK, then re-applying the pose after, but sometimes I forget, especialy when working with simple poses and many characters at once, and I realize this after saving the scene... sad.
I'll put up a ticket FWIW.

I set all key frames to "constant", also, there are no emtpy key frames, since this are still frames in sequence, I don't need interpolation.

Quote - What is texture mask-based hair? I've never heard of that before.
Well I don't know if that's the technical name, what I mean is having a texture map, like a specular or bump map, for specifying where the hair grows, instead of doing it by polygon groups.
Thread: How to enable Smooth Scaling | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Thank you very much Cage, for taking the time to explain it so well. I'm eager to try this out when I get home. I'm sure it'll work this time. I'll post any updates.

Yeah I've been using CR2 builder, so many options, so little documentation... hehe. Maybe it's not supposed to work with newer cr2 files, with weight mapping and all.
I'll keep tinkering, I think I'm now getting somewhere.
Thanks for the tips.

Thanks Cage,
I always forget to state my poser version, I'm using Poser Pro 2014, got it on sale, yay!.
Sadly though, the joint editor doesn't allow me (or I wasn't able to) to create the smoothScale parameters on the figure, it just handles the existing ones.
I've been messing with the cr2 and trying to copy the settings manually but I always find the cr2 files a bit inconsistant and my first attemps were not succesful. I'll try again, I need those smooth parameters.
What do you guys use for editing cr2's manually?

Quote - firefox has never worked for me. one should delete it ASAP. it's more like a trojan than a browser.
Windows and Mac are already trojan horses themselves. Furthermore, I'd more worry about IE, Safari or Chrome than Firefox, I work with all of them on a daily basis, and Firefox is my favorite, even from a technical point of view.

I agree with the DarksealStudios, I would like to see improvement in the current tools instead of new stuff.
For instance, how come we have soft body dynamics while the hair room is the same since it first came out? We still don't have texture mask based hair or better styling tools.
On the other hand, the morph tool improvements are a great addition, I love that, keep making existing tools better.
What I would love is to have a GPU enabled preview window, that would make setting up a scene enjoyable, and allow us to keep shadows turned on during preview in larger scenes.
In any case, I'm very happy with Poser Pro 2014, best version so far.

Quote - Bill's suggestion is marvellous if you want/need to render all in one go. As I'd never thought of that solution, I've just tried it - the attached render took less than three minutes just now on a 5 year old Quad Core system, so I can vouch for Bill's assertion that it's cost-free; not an ideal scene to demo fog with but I happened to have it loaded as I was browsing.
For me, I usually go down the ZDepth render/postwork route as the amount of fog or haze is then easily adjusted, plus the ZDepth render is essential for masking and other 3D effects like depth of field.
Beautiful render.
May I ask how do you create the ZDepth mask in Poser?
