No... I've not delete the file... If i go in the texture control panel i can see the exact name and path of the material... but VUE don't load it. VUE fault...

You can reinstall previous patch and you version return to previous... BTW if you save with the last version you can't reload from the previous !!! TESTED :( Now i'm working with the latest version with the network render cow, converting dynamic hair... Hope in a patch for this patch in few days... :

I've found another way... Big big problem with dynamic hair object and render cow... If you convert dynamic hair object (back polygon) and try to render on network it works... otherwise crash. I've convert it (i can do it because i've a distance camera view) and it works. BTW this is patch... correct... but this is the only way to install mover5... I hope e-on work on this patch and release a better patch next time !!!

It also crash in 720x405 (PAL Widesrceen Format) It's impossible !!! The new patch cause crash in network render and also if you try to import a vue project from another machine. (a scene with poser character) Very big problem on this patch... this is not a professional way e-on... not professional :(

Well... another test i've do. I've take a complex image (10 sec animation) and i've render with vue 4 professional on my workstation: i've do it in 8 hours (approx.) After i've take the same scene and i've render it not stand alone on workstation, but on rendercow with 3 workstations on the network (my workstation plus another two with the same CPU and RAM): i've do it in 18 hours !!! Is rendercow made for speedup render? I am much displeased. Bye xman

I'm going to a general update of OS on my render farm. I think the Dale B way, can be a patch to the problem; i've just test it and i've see that in most case it work: i start hypervue and add only the system with Vue, after it start render add the other (one to the time). Now i'm starting a new render to try with stills (jpg) to add in a movie with Quiktime6. Thanks to all. When the project is finish i publisj it on web site to have your impression. Bye xman P.S. I'm rendering as movie (.avi) This because i've test that the network fails on the start, but if it don't fails on the first frame... it go to the end without problem. (I Hope... i'm rendering now!!!) Rendering image by image is a problem, because after this i need to add all images to a movie and after this i can compose the film... so in this way i've another step in the making of. (and i've short time) xman

Hy Dale, i'm using 5 node in my HyperVue Network Render; every workstation of my render farm have a VueProfessional Render Cow updated. My vue 4 professional is the 26601 Build. RenderCows crash (sometimes also vue 4 pro... but one problem at time...); usually it crash at the first (sending texture or rendering first frame). I've try also a sample image (Danish spring), adding a camera motion and go to render in network... crash. The crash is randomly, so some times it works... (absolutly randomly...) Thanks. xman

Yes, i think so. I hope only to take Mover4 from e-on web site today. If not, i wait until Monday. Thanks to everyone try to solve my problem, in special way to GUITTA. I've Vue4.2 and Vue4Pro on the same HD. I've Mover4 working well on my vue4.2. If i install this Mover4 (for vue 4.x) on Vue4Pro... the program crash. If i install Mover4 (for vue 4 pro, from add-on) i've Bad Serial Number.

Joffry this is what I imagined, also if on the Quick Reference Card there is an explanation of Mover4 and here you can read that a you can use any previous license. So, i'm going to take a Mover4 for vue 4 professional, because in this way my e-on software suite is complete. :) Do you think, i can buy it form e-on web site in the weekend (download version) or i need to wait until monday ?
