Thread: 2 questions....OMG...back on topic! | Forum: Bryce
Rayraz, what does SHE think of YOU having her image here as your avatar? (But...I suppose she doesn't know it is here.)
Thread: What is your favourite thing about Photoshop? | Forum: Photoshop
For just about anything you want to do in Photoshop there are several ways to do it. What one person thinks is the "right" way to do something isn't necessarily the only way. In some cases one way is fast and easy while another way may have more fine-tuning control and settings. LAYERS and MASKING and Adjustment Layers are all very Powerful, editable features that a lot of people never get into but should. Also ACTIONS. WOW! Talk about doing some neat stuff or saving repetitious steps...that is what Actions will do for you. Customizable workspaces (what pallets and windows are visible just by selecting a saved setting) are great. There's LOTS more features! Like you, the feature of matching tones between two images really appeals to me. However, in practice I haven't been able to get that to work to my satisfaction (I'm probably not doing it right).

CrazyDawg, what DO you use for your artwork these days? Out of curiosity, I went to look at your gallery but there isn't one here. I wanted to see what you had found to use instead of Bryce.

What IS a "Sticky"? How is it different from a "Post"? I notice that this message is a Sticky whereas most of the others are Posts.
Thread: Date announced for Forum conversion to PHP | Forum: Bryce
One BIG question... will we be able to view the OLD forum posts? The ones that are here now and go back it seems like forever. And will we still be able to search topics from the old forum posts? Sometimes I get into something with Bryce (or the others) and am looking for help. 9 times out of 10 I can do a search and see that it has already been dealt with in earlier posts and I can find my answers that way. Will we still be able to do that?

I think it would be great if you had a mind to share your crayola models and textures. I've always wanted to do some images with crayons and these are the best I've ever seen.

Thread: WIP.........this needs something, but what? | Forum: Bryce
I'm sure there are things you could do to make it better still (aren't there always?), but I think this version is good. Even with the brightening of the light it still looks like night. I think you have done well.

Or.... maybe a bit of carefully placed lighting. I just ran across another image that made me think of your situation: http://www.renderosity.com/viewed.ez?galleryid=1182170
Thread: Didja know that Corel Bryce 5.1 is the same as DAZ Bryce 5.5? I didn't! | Forum: Bryce
This is QUITE interesting to me. I missed the upgrade price that DAZ had from Bryce 5 to Bryce 5.5 (thinking surely Bryce 6 was soon to come!). Just now looking I see that I do only have version 5; not even 5.1. How could I get the upgrade to 5.1? And on the original topic... WHAT EXACTLY does version 5.5 have that 5.1 does not have?

It is difficult to notice the rabbit. Perhaps if the rabbit is running toward a brushy hiding spot but right now he should be in the open and more clearly noticible.
Thread: advice on processor for Bryce & 3D rendering? | Forum: Bryce
Man! Why didn't anyone say that before now. Somehow I think I am not the only one who was mistaken about the Centrino. And definately thanx for clearing that up for me! ... Okay, so how many different kinds of currently marketed processors are there?
