Boy these are great!!! I am a lifelong fan of quality Science Fiction and I'm especially looking forward to seeing what you do with the Alien stuff.......I'm doing some of this myself; I'm creating props from the movie Forbidden Planet (1956)......but I'm not much of a modeler (yet)... Actually, I've done some experimenting and have been able to achieve anime/cartoon effects as well as line drawing effects which look good even in animations. Custom sketch presets that you make yourself can be saved as a preset. This becomes a file under PreferenceSketch Presets which can then be distributed to others. I've found that to get the results I'm looking for I sometimes have to use custom lighting as well as position the camera at certain angles. This helps control how the shadows fall. There are some presets available (I believe in the Funstuff). I will probably post some of mine soon, along with the lights. Davo has some good presets available. He should be able to be texture mapped no problem. Haven't tried it because this file is big (about 11MB uncompressed) and the rocks look good enough for an animation without textures. I will be sending this to Radart for hosting. Let you know when it's available. Krel

Yeah, I was rather unimpressed and backed off on considering a purchase. I would much rather be able to buy a single figure (like Planet Poser's deal) so I don't waste $200 bucks.....until they offer single models I won't be buying..... Krel

Well, they may not conform to the male figure but might work if you are only doing a still. I believe Hokasai's stuff is not available at the moment. Send an email to me at krel@injersey.com and I can send them to you. They are very nice even if you don't use them for fishing....... Krel

I think it will work with P3 as it manipulates the standard mouth morph targets that have always come with Poser since version 3.......let us know..... Krel

Click on the camera in question (presumably main), then go to Object on the menu and properties. UNcheck the animating checkbox. This will turn off animation for that camera, even if it is already in your animation. Krel

Uhhhh.......I've used Terragen, it's a nice program, but it can be fairly complex to get a particular look or background out of it.....and that's where the real work and talent come in (also very time consuming)....it's worth something if it saves you hours of time...... Krel

Steve I have a digital camera (Olympus D600L Megapixel)....they are nice, but to solve the battery problem I purchased a set of metal hydride rechargeable batteries and a charger.....they last a long time...... Krel
