You cannot create a morph when your morph obj has more or less polys than your target.

Both. It really depends on what you are looking for. Sometimes it could be a very general question, so every advices could be helpy. Sometimes you want to focus on something more 'technic' and so need more precise answers.

If they feed a need, why not. But having numerous forums only for the sake of choice where to post is not a good thing.

IIRC you use the UPDATE option.

Let us say you loaded in MyGroupedObject.obj and remapped it when you update then you should see MyGroupedObject**-uvlayout**.obj. That should be the one with the groups and materials preserved with the new UV map.

But i can see your story is full of hope, there are some people who have not forgotten to be a human :D

I must say at first reading of your story, i asked myself what i would have done. I'm the proud owner of 3 devils (i must rather say THEY are my owners ;) ), and i use to say i'd rather avoid to buy me some food to feed them, if i was in a difficult financial health. Of course, i had never thought about such money you have been told to pay to cure your sweetie.
I had another cat before the actuals, a white perfection ^^
She had a heart disease since she was born, and we knew it would only be worst with time, and that she only had a few years behind her :(
She wasn't suffering, but there was a risk she would one day, and my inner fear was that she had suffer. I was asking myself what should i do. We tend to be egoist when those questions arrive. One day, i woke up on the morning, and she was lying on her seat. It happened only a few minutes before i woke up. We had had another cat at this time, a small kitty about 2 or 3 months. He was sitting just next to her, as he wanted to peace her. During 4 months after that, he kept climnbing on our shoulders, because he felt so lonely. She wasn't his mother, but she acted as. He was as black as she was white. Our hearts were broken after this loss, and more seeing this little cutie so sad, so we got another one, to play with him.

As soon as i have more time, i will post some pics of those babes.

I use too the free UVLayout. I'm still wondering how i did before, this progy is so great!
And i had also those "incompatible facet structure". It seems to happen when you UVmap a detailled mesh with separated items in it. It has really slow down my workflow, as i could not use my original Hex model to make morphs after the UVmapping :(

Connie, tell us if you open a thread in the UVLayout forum about it, so i could add my own voice to you ^^
