For long posts, before I hit the "post reply" button, I try to remember to select and copy all of the text I typed. Then if the post didn't go through, or whatever, all you have to do is right click and 'paste' the text into a new posting window and re-send.

Antoine is still kissing (X)MetaGreedations butt, I see. Between what MC did to all of their software purchasers, and the MetaStream ban that followed it, I'm not at all surprised that MC adopted the 'Viewpoint' name within seconds after buying them. "Viewpoint Web Format"... Yeah. Right. Manure is Manure. Just the same ol' sh** crammed into a new bag. Are you really foolish enough to trust that you'll have continued support for VET?!?! I can't imagine why any Carrara user (let alone it's developer) would want to have anything to do with those rat b@st@rd suits that comprise what little is left of MC/Viewpoint. Especially when it comes to somthing as frivilous as VET. I see Antione is still doing business as usual. Back in bed with MC. Whatta weasel. (Weasel - Function: noun Etymology: from the weasel's reputed habit of sucking the contents out of an egg while leaving the shell superficially intact.) Looks like it's "birds of a feather, get their eggs sucked together. The only thing that would make sense, is that Antione is cashing in on everyones loyalty to Carrara. I'll bet he was paid a pretty penny from MC/VP for shoving this plugin at everyone. Think about it... Every MetaStream model you people display on the internet, will be FREE advertising for MC/VP and their plugin. That many more number of downloads of their browser add-in that they can show to their investors, so they can further line their pockets on top of your money that's already in there, from that sh** release of Carrara that you paid for a year and a half ago. Sheesh, Antione. Have you NO shame? Hey... Where's Lisa? She'd LOVE this!

World Builder does animations with wind blowing through the trees and grass. You can drop things into the water and it will make the water ripple in rings. It has animated ocean waves that have that thin foamy slice of water that slides back off the shore into the ocean after the wave recedes. Rivers that have rocks sticking up out of them, leave a rippling wake on the down stream side of the rocks. Animated wakes that you can use on boats, etc. You can "float" things in the water and they'll move down stream with the current. The caustics that can be applied to the animated water, looks SO real it will make you drool.

This is the reply I left in the WB forum: Open the model in Poser with a texture map applied, then save it out through the 'file/export/wavefront obj' route. When you open it in WB you'll be asked to locate that same texture map that was applied in Poser. (Waaa-Laaa!!) At least, that's what it did for me.

In Bryce, try clicking on that little arrow that's next to each figure when you select it.

Give the head a slight tilt, too. And get her off of her tip-toes. Her high high high-heals are already bending her ankles far enough.
Thread: Poser Animations - would you like yours on a "station"? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
With Poser, World builder, Illusion, Media Paint, and whatever else I've got hanging around here, I think I might be able to come up with somthing... Please keep up informed here.

With some ratty looking clothes on, she would make a great 'bag lady'. Isn't there a shopping cart in the freestuff section?
Thread: Poser 4/RDS5.5/G3? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I'd install Poser first. When you install RDS, you'll be asked if you want to install the Poser importer plugin, after which you'll be asked to locate the Poser.exe file.

I have the Warrior bug model that he made, but I don't know if it would be kosher to e-mail it to you if you leave an e-mail address. The zip file is 1.75 Megs...
