Hey Phil, while yer at it......man I love these boots but can't use them......if I save them in a Poser scene file then go to reopen, I get the dreaded C Exception error and can't recover from it.....I'm on Windows 95B using a Pentium 300MHz with 128MB RAM.....do you know of anyone else having this problem? Could it be a platform issue? Usually this happens on objects where Poser doesn't like something about the faces (maybe?)....... Krel

Hey Hamfast, I created a combined morph that flattens the nipples so they aren't raised. You can't get rid of the nipple/areola completely but most of the time flattening the nips works fine. This is a known bug......I have the same problem. I reconstructed the bikini (saved the objects as 3DS, brought them back in, positioned and saved as props, loaded a good figure, replaced body parts....a lot of work) and now it works fine. 20 lashes to Metacreations for insufficient QC, there are so many problems it's ridiculous..... Krel

The sketch renderer does have it's limitations and it doesn't render the way the normal rendering engine does. SO......here's a suggestion: Render (using the 'normal' render) an image of your transparencies set to how you like them. Save the image. Create a new scene and import your image as a background. Then sketch render just the background image with no 3D objects. The sketch renderer works well on background pictures. BTW this is a great technique for applying the sketch settings to any picture and can make digital photographs look like paintings.... Krel

Diane, this texture is really nice, very realistic and elegant.....yes, use UVMapper to create a template for an object. Just make sure you select the right mapping method (planar, cylindrical, or spherical). Which one you use will determine how the texture is mapped around the object. Just try each one until you get good results from all angles. Krel

I don't think you can change textures in the middle of generating an animation. Here's what I would do; cut the animation sequence into two so they can be generated separately, then splice them back together after rendering. Krel

Well I got this error in Poser 3, got the patch and for the most part it went away or I could work around it by attempting to close the scene and then cancelling the close. Now in Poser 4 the C exception has reared it's ugly head again but I can't get around it. Through indirect means I seem to have found evidence that this occurs if there is something wrong in the geometry of either a prop or of a clothing figure. For example, the P4 bikini caused a C exception for me, so I reworked it by saving the top and bottom as OBJs then reconstructed the bikini using the leotard figure and replacing the appropriate body parts. I would remove each prop one-by-one until I found the culprit then fix it by resaving it as an object then importing it... Krel
