It's a bit of a pain. I'm trying to conserve space as I pay for my site and bandwidth. If I have two thumbnails, that's more space on the server and more files I have to keep track of. Since Renderosity points people to the images on my site, that's bandwidth I pay for and at a higher file size than I use for my own site. And yes - I hate enormous thumbnails, too, and I have a cable connection. The only reason I made the request is that the Gallery already keeps the original size for thumbnails, so I'm hoping that getting the Free Stuff to do the same won't take much effort. If it does, then I gladly withdraw my request. Thanks for letting me know about the updating.
Thread: Possible Gallery Rating System | Forum: Community Center
I think the comments are far more important. Sometimes I'll give a high rating because the idea is great, even if there's some flaws in the picture. If a picture is done to death (fems in skimpy clothes) then I'm going to expect a lot more to give that high rating. I also look at the artist in question. If they are new, I'll post a higher rating as encouragement. As time progresses, I'll be more picky about the score I give that person. I'll still comment on what I see, regardless of the score I give. Even though this is an art forum, the message can be more important than the technical skill. Dilbert is hilarious and I rate it a 5 even though the art is poor. Mary Worth is superior in skill, but boooring, so I rate it a 3. Since we can get comments without a rating now, (thanks to Wonder Roy) I'm much more inclined to ask for just comments. Ratings are too subjective. (Besides, my ego couldn't handle the 2's that I'd get for my work.) Comments I can work with, literally. Comments help me improve, not number ratings.

Make a second ghost at about 5% bigger on each dimension then turn the transparency up, maybe up to 90 or so. That might give you the look you need.

The biggest question is: what effect are you trying to produce? I think it would be easier to help you out if we knew what you wanted to do.

She looks like she's been hit across the face. Lighten up the blush a bit then either apply it on the top of the checkbones only, or underneath. I've seen it applied both ways to good effect, just not to both areas at the same time.

In some ways her costume does not have much of a top nor bottom. ;-) Personally, I love the folded gloves and boots. Are those going to be posted somewhere? Hint ... hint.

Hey, I'd love to see the original Royal Flush Gang as well. They were cool -- totally messed up -- but very cool. Very nice job with the lines. It is sooo hard to get straight lines in Poser!
Thread: For Darth: guess who... | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Hmmm... she has an Asian cast to her eyes. I'm terrible at these things. She's not a WB'er unless it's one of their awful things like Dawson's Creek or 7th Heaven. The hair is almost right for Willow, but the face is wrong. (Hope I didn't just put my foot in my mouth!) Regardless, it's a beautiful character with a face full of personality.

Yes! The Posettes were geting lonely! Great character! I'm in such desperate need of male figures and lacking the talent to make them look right. Thanks so much!
