Long live the King of Textures! There's a few that I can not live without, and a whole bunch I reaaaalllly like.

Hey, anyway we can see the picture that was published? ... you'd be able to gloat some more ... May this be a small step in a large success!

And we'd like it to serve us food as we wait for downloads ... Yowch! What can't you do, Roy?

Are there any specific types of pictures you'd like: i.e. fantasy, sci-fi, etc.? If we know what you're looking for there is a better chance that you'll get what you want.

The bricks are flat. They need to project outward. (I know, this is easier said than done in Poser.) The hair is a bit too transparent. I really like the picture overall.

Your artwork is a nice change of pace from many CG galleries. It's great to see such a variety of pieces.

If you zip it down, what size is it? If necessary, I can clear an area for FTP. I'd be glad to make the file available for a time for others to download it.
Thread: New HomePage Is Finally Finished! | Forum: Bryce
A) The rocks following the cursor freaked me out. I thought my computer was crashing! Cute effect, but boy, if you're not expecting it ... B) Great front page but I'd put a text link under each icon just in case the images did not load properly. C) The Tutorial page is blue as compared to black in te rest of the site. I love the logo! Your gallery images are wonderful. BTW: Silly question, but how did you get the URL to display in this forum? I.e. if I wanted to give you a link in my message, what code do I use to get it to display properly? Thanks!

There's another great site for beaches. Try: http://easyweb.easynet.co.uk/~jba/galcode/seaweed.html There's even a section on making a sea limpet.

Save the UV Map as a texture and load it into a photo image program, like Photoshop or Photopaint. It's pretty easy to make a texture. Just be prepared to tweak for a while as the texture map has to stretch around the model and what looked like a straight line in the photo editor might warp when wrapped. I'm getting Rhino soon. Can I count on you to help with that? :-)
Thread: Modify Primitives | Forum: Bryce
Not really. You can rotate the object to something like a 45 degree angle, then stretch it on an axis, but real twists and such are beyond Bryce.

Warrior does have a point, though. It's great to get your feelings out in the open and work through them, but a few people don't work through things. Instead, they keep rehashing things, over and over again. Things fester and become poisonous. Others become sick from the venom. We can't let that happen. We need to move on.
Thread: Show of hands please... | Forum: Community Center
Hey, this is like a family to me. I feel like my parents are divorcing and I'm in the middle of the custody battle. (Actually, sad to say, it was easier when my parents split, far less bitterness.) Yeah, life goes on, but grieving is normal. Let us softies have our cry until our eyes turn dry and we turn to other matters. I hope that if something does happen, we're given time to try to come up with a solution before the worst occurs.

Traveler has a tutorial on how to get just one piece of a character, such as a limb. I dn't see why it wouldn't work for the tail. It's at: http://www.egforum.com/morphworld/tutorials.html Of course, there's other great tutorials there as well.
