Hi, I've not yet installed the latest update for the Young Teens but with my last installation, the prep poses were not installed into Poser's runtime. If you open explorer, go to the program directory and find the IPB folder, you will find a runtime directory somewhere in there with the various poses. Philebus
Thread: Why is DAZ offering their V3 character for free? Whats the catch? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Hmmm. The flat isn't big enough to be saving any trigannic pyus just now. I don't think that there will be a 4th generation for at least another year. There are still products to be gotten from the old unimesh - they have only just released Aiko and the first of this round of Mil Kids and there is plenty of scope to complete the family. DAZ is rightly focusing on growing their customer base, the free studio and base figures (which include Aiko) are an excellent strategy for that. If a new range is launched too soon into this initiative, people will be put off and it will fail! Prospects for a new generation of figures has been limited by the capabilities of the Poser rigging. Whatever DAZ produce, it has to be compatible with their studio (at least with release 1) which has opted for that same rigging. There are no real advatages in increased resolution at this time and so the scope for a generation of P4 based figures that better previous generations in the way that the current one has, is limited. I gather that Curious Labs are not making major changes to rigging in Poser 6 - but they will have to by version 7. I would expect to see something then, along with release 2 of DAZ Studio.
Thread: LOOKING FOR HIGH QUALITY NATURAL V3 TEXTURES | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I'm going to say Morris as well, I've never gone wrong with her work. A very good buy is the International Beauty Bundle at DAZ, this has the International Beauty morphs as well as all five texture sets. Purchased all together, they are excellent value and all at 3000x4000 in size. If you want to fill in the gaps as it were, you get them at her 'rosity store (Zena is an excellent dark Black texture). She also does very good make up! Although a little smaller, I'd also suggest Danae's V3 textures - they render very well and are perfect for the catwalk look!

Go ahead and do it! I'm still learning this game and frankly I could use a lot more of the feedback you're talking about - not just to point out errors but, if possible, to suggest ways forward. Whilst the odd 'well done' is very gratifying, it would help me progress a lot faster if more folk would pick apart what I'm doing now. So, speaking for myself, I'd consider it a favour if someone took the time to that - they would get words of thanks, not anger!

Thread: Possible future relief for bloated runtimes.... | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
7SeAs (I think that's right) already have a small install/uninstall utility in the marketplace - Poser Product Manager. It installs runtimes directly from zip files, records the contents in a directory and then uninstalls the files when you don't need them. As for DAZ installers, I install to a temporary directory and create a zip file - everything is then kept in themed, labeled CD ROMs - this is what makes using Poser possible for me with a 6Gb hard drive! The utility is small enough to have running whilst you work in Poser - but I would shut it down when you're ready to render. Off the top of my head, I believe it was about $15 - well spent!

Now these really look good - I especially love the green! A hazel colour would be nice, as would (to continue the anime theme) a violet/blue. In any case, I look forward to seeing the completed pack - I'm on the look out for eye packs just now and these look like they'll fit the bill for me!
Thread: I hate to ask but | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Hmmm. There are some merchants here who's products require the old UVmapper to work. I'm thinking of Andygraph's excellent cyborg kits - this could seriously affect his business! Can the new demo version do the job Andygraph needs?

Fantastic looking face - I can't believe the pace you're working at! Keep posting these updates, it is facinating to watch the progress.
Thread: PRIMAL Passions - Available Now! Not Available in a few hours - SALE | Forum: MarketPlace Showcase
I can't believe that this product is being classed as against the new restrictions! This is rediculous! Well, if you don't have this set, do buy it - these are some of the best couple poses you can still (just) buy. Take a look at Paradise Passions whilst you're at it - that's another outstanding product.

Wow! Really, wow! Astonishing detail and a very natural shape to the face. I can't wait to see more.

Thread: Sensua 9: Breathless Again for SP3 - coming soon! | Forum: MarketPlace Showcase
Don't have Steph?! I should pop over to DAZ whilst the sale is running - she is soooo much better than Victoria. Honestly! Looking at these pics again reminds me why I got this set when it came out, the seated poses are outstanding. I'm very happy I'll have them available for Stephanie too.

Many thanks! Great poses for a great product! So, haven't gotten Jolly yet? Go check him out and then buy him, he really is a very nice addition to any collection. He poses wonderfully and I have to say that they've done an excellent job with his mapping and texture. This is well worth your pennies.
