So, after some of the beta-test modifications get made, we can look forward to the return of the chedi?

Quote - iirc, that's Mars hair--a freebie.
Thank you for that information. I'll look into it!

Quote - Antonia was made for me.
"Actually, I don't like a man with too many muscles."
"I didn't make him for YOU!"
Oops, we've gone from Orwell to Rocky Horror Picture Show.

I've lost two wives, shante, one to heart attack, one to cancer. I think I understand what you're feeling, especially the rage part. If you need someone's ear to bend in private, feel free to use mine.
Speaking of private messages, could someone privately bring me up to speed on .xmp files, how they're created, and such? I don't want to derail the thread with something unrelated to Antonia.

Hmmmm. Maybe I should try that approach, too!

I still favor the idea of a single script that would let you choose to either modify the figure files or the pose files. Maximum versatility in a single package.

Ah, my apologies, ODF. I didn't realize this was never intended to be a user/newbie-friendly figure, but a learning/teaching platform instead. How I could have read all these pages and missed the point . . . . [sigh] well, it wasn't the first time that happened, and doubtless won't be the last. [wry smile] My misconceptions are my own, and not anyone else's fault.
Again, thanks for all of your work, as well as everyone else who contributed to Antonia!

I would suggest creating a script that acts as a diagnostic and a repair tool: it looks at the Antonia you're using and the pose you're having problems with, and tells you where the naming problem is. It then offers to correct the "faulty" item (pose OR Antonia figure) and save it slightly renamed. Obviously, if you're not having a problem, you don't need to run the script.
It looks to me, at the moment, and as a rather ignorant newbie, that this might be the only way to have the best of both worlds.
As a regular user of Wardrobe Wizard AND of "canned" poses, that offers me a relatively painless approach to the situation.
Regardless of what gets decided, I thank you, Olaf, for all of your hard work.

Thanks for the info!
Now I have to check my spam filters, because I don't seem to have received my activation email . . .
It says that if I am having registration difficulties, to contact one of the administrators, but there don't seem to be any exposed contact points. (You can't contact them via PMs in their profile until you've successfully registered and logged in . . .)

I hate to resurrect the dead, but I've seen a few freebies that require "the skinsuit". They don't say what version of the skinsuit, nor where it (or they) might be available.
Anyone care to help a Poser poseur out?

You're quite welcome, Keith. And thank YOU for restoring the broken link.
I look forward to trying out the tools soon; you've both put an enormous amount of work into them, and I'm very grateful.

Wow! Nineteen pages and intensive math! It looks like a wonderful tool, and apparently, one that I have to read another thread to properly understand and use.
It appears that the tutorials on Cage's page are gone. It also appears that the link to Spanki's _tdmt.py archive is broken.
Anyone have any ideas as to what happened there?
I'm very sorry to read about the communications difficulties that Cage and Spanki, but I can also understand how such things can happen. I myself have some difficulties in fully understanding some social interactions, and have lost a few good friends over the years due to them.
They are a brilliant team, and I hope they can reconcile their different methods well enough to restore the team.

Quote - ok no problem I just imported into max as a single group and everything welded fine but that 1 spot. which is really no biggy but thought would point it out. hell I cant even figure out how to find anything in poser. I just do the runtime copy and figure it all goes where it is supposed to but I get clothes and inj and rems in my pose thing and I cant even find those vamp teeth I put in. I would love to clean this crap up but dont even have the first idea on how to start lol.
they need one for figures and poses etc then another menu for morphs and one for clothes added too. I been spending the morning trying to find tutorials on how to organize your crap.
after I spent time in line to get my ozzy ozbourne with slash opening tickets )))
I gave up on their library system awhile back, especially annoyed by the problem where they alphabetize the upper-case and lower-case letters separately. I used Advanced Library for awhile, then P3DO Explorer. (I still use Explorer Pro's Librarian function to find files with broken links.)
These days, I use PzDB from Rocketship Software. It is a database program that scans your runtimes and self-organizes to some extent. Unfortunately, it's not available for our friends with Macintosh computers. :-(
Now, I don't have to remember WHERE an item is so long as I can remember its name, or a keyword to find it with.
