I dont' know exactly how clothes are made for models, but I think I know of something that may help... PSP8 has something that's called seamless tiling. if at any point in time, you have to have the pic your using in a flat format like jpg, bmp, png, something like that, use the seamless tiling...it get's rid of all the obvious edge marks in a pic... I use it for webpage backgrounds and stuff, and it's really cool. Jen

lol I did get wings3D last night and tried to figure it out...lol came up with some funny looking thing....took me about 1/2 hour to figure out where to start...LOL I have NO idea how some of you guys can make such awesome models in there....it's hard as heck to make anything...LOL gonna try that model thing later, after diner....hopefully the house render will be far enough along to get something going in it too...LOL I had some MAJOR fixes to do in it...I saved the house as an object and put it in it's own pic to blow up and shrink for details...LOL Still have some stuff to do before I do anything with the model, but those things are small enough they don't show in this picture, but will in something closer...LOL Jen

I'll have to try it again tonight.... I didn't import the glass I made it from scratch from spheres in bryce itself... I could be on the wrong angle but I did try moving the camera... I made the first sphere, applied texture, made positive. Duped it, shrunk, made negative. Grouped with first sphere. created cube moved and resized, textured, made negative and grouped with the two spheres. made a rock, textured, and moved it so it was half in and half out of the two spheres, then made negative and grouped with the 2spere and cube group. Then made a cylander, textured, and placed for the stem, created another spere, flattened, textured and made positive, crated a second cube, textured, positioned, and made negative. Grouped the whole thing and rendered.. no hole. So with the all selected, I pressed control D, and moved it, turned it, dropped it to the ground, ungrouped the rock only, select intersect, rgrouped, and dleeted the stem and base of the glass (they didn't go invisible)... rendered again, and the above was my result... maybe if I try it with an imported glass it will work better? The first time I did it, I tried with the plain glass texture, but was kinda hard to see, so I selected all and changed mat to crystal, like he used in the tut, still couldn't see it that well, so selected all again, and chose the red glass material...lol That's how I ended up with red glass...lol gonna try again, maybe all that stuff they gave me made me read wrong...lol (was kinda loopy after all...lol)

I made the glass from spheres all the same time I tried the tut.... hahahaha that's what I get for actually reading and doing a tutorial...LOL would LOVE to see if you get the same results on it....thinking it's not my pc but something in B5 that makes it goofy... Jen

woodhurst, what I like to do is take something that inspires me, like the Thomas Kinkade picture I'm doing in Bryce, and make it real... If creating your own stuff is blocking you for now, try to find something to imitate, and make it your own... (TK is a great place to find inspirational pieces btw) As a painter of light, His works are simply amazing....adjusting the studio lights can take an image from noon to dusk with the lights seeming to glow.. (in bryce that'd be easy, just change brightness of the lights as you reduce the amount of sunlight....grins) just some thoughts on what inspires me. I've been working on another image too for something else...you've all seen those dungeon scenes, dark, cold damp kinda places, well, I've been working on one with some warmth to it...lol I know I know, they not supposed to be that way, but hey, it looks good....hahahahah good luck and if you need some links or hugs and stuff, just give a holler. According to all camera views, the rock is up front, slightly to the right, and I even grouped it two different ways, both with the same result. I do see the sliver where the rock and the glass met, but it didn't take out the whole chunk for some reason. In the un AA'd version, there's like a partial crack in the glass, although I didn't do the "crack part" of the tutorial. (I couldn't get the first part to work right so didn't try that part...LOL I grouped everything just as he said, and got this result, so after I posted this, I tried, ungrouping everything, and grouping into one group instead of several, but that produced the same result...LOL

very cool, I'm still trying to figure out the optical illusion in it....LOL How do ya get it to look like the bottom is a rectangle one way and the layer in the middle is a rectangle the other way, yet it looks like the pillars all line up to be right on track?? This is awesome....grins Jen
