Although they're for older M3 or Poser figures,but you should be able convert them for M4 via Crossdresser and other apps,not sure if Poser Fitting room will be able to do this

Aha,then good if doesn't crash there,I will be reinstalling my Poser pro and will try older SR2,which has been more stabile for me,well we will see

You have two choices in Poser pro using Embedded and External(Foreground Poser on item load),those function/features you can find under General Preferences->Library

I've similar issues with previous SR,but SR3 has been probably best and SR2 has been OK too for me.

Did your Poser crashing when you are search in Pose folder and are you using Embedded Libraries

I think 10 is the which you want to edit or throw away,but still I would keep them as backup,I always keeping backup and this 10 is the main file which I'm deleting or reseting

Poser Preferences are located under Users->Yours name->AppData->Roaming->PoserPro

You will need to have enabled in Windows,show hidden folders/files

Depends on the CPU,CPU heatsink,but usually when PC renders all cores are working on 100% and temps can go to the max temps,usually on my i7-920@4.4Ghz my temps are on idle now close to 40C and when PC renders then temps are still reasonable at 70C(when is outside very hot,it can hit easily 80C,which is still OK,just due my CPU have TJ Max at 100C)

If you are still using OE Heatsink,then replace this for nice and still awesome Noctua,this I've and really is the best,watercooling its nice,but after I've owned Corsair AIO(All In One Watercool kit),which has been very noisy,but agree cooled nicely,but for price of the noise,I prefer to have nice quiet PC

I think in both cases(my and yours) we are using different sized monitors,in my case I'm using as main 24" DELL and as my second one I'm using 21.5" Samsung and this can be culprint to all those issues,I've too Geforce,my is GTX560Ti which is bit older than yours 

Why this only happens to yours libraries where you have wips that's bit mystery for me,in my case this only happens to my main biggest 

What you have set under Perferences->General Preferences->File Search?

When you trying search something in Pose folder,will yours Poser crash?

This morning, again my empty libraries... dang how many yells and whinings this would bring me yet???
So I uninstalled PP2014 and installed again. Emptyied the TEMP folders of Windows and Poser... and when opening... missing icons! not empty folders but YES missing icons and several times, a missed refresh icon.

You open another folder, and go back to the one with missing things, and they APPEAR!!!! Haunted!!!

BUT... I noticed something...
I have 2 monitors, and use to put the libraries there, being there external or embedded... I put them not docked and move these there. Very comfy for work...
But in one of these closings of Poser I moved the Libraries window or palette to the main monitor again, as for letting it as it is by default.
When opening again Poser, there was nothing missed.

Moved the window again meantime was working in a wide scene, and the weirdness started again. NO empty folders but YES missing thumbnails and icons.

Now I have a GOOD point to ask for help... why the hell a dual monitor can be affecting this???? No other program suffers nothing... and actually I have been working this way for the last 6 months!!!!

Any clues??? Only thing I stil didn´t is update or change video card drivers and a scandisk.

I should write a book LOL.

Are yours two monitors same or they're different? I mean if they're different sizes like main monitor is 24" and second one is 22"?

I'm using only two monitors,its like you are said,very comfy to work

What graphic card you have ?

How big are yours Libaries ?

Those yours issues can point to the graphic card,but hard to say

My issues still persist too,in last few days,my library showing OK,but after few hours of rendering or posing etc,my issues start to show up,I've updated all drivers which I can think off,some people reported earlier nVidia drivers seems are better than those new,which I'm still testing,my crashes are not so frequent as per my Youtube video over on RDNA,Poser will crash only once on start up,but after that is useable and fully working 

Hopefully yours issues will be sorted soon

I've i7-920 currently overclock'd at 4.4GHz still on air and i'm pretty happy with render performance,I've used few times Octane,but my GPU is slow for this and I will need to upgarde if I would want to use 

Seems best GPU for Octane is GTX780,GTX970 or GTX980 are slower than 780Ti,but in LuxRender GTX780 is poor and on other hand 970/980 are fast as AMD R9290X

Is yours CPU overclock'd,if not,then I would overclock,you will gain a lot with overclocking,I've lowered my render times to very nice,but this really depends on more factors 

Agree i7-5960x is awesome,but price is out of reach for me and looking like i7-4770k or 5930k is CPU which I'm looking to get,but those CPU are not so overclockable such as older 2600k or 920

I would wait one more year,DDR4 RAM are still very expensive and new motherboards are too very expensive,as I said I would overclock yours CPU,what cooling are you using ?

This is not yours scene,but here is pool scene and rendered with my usual settings:

2 raytrace bounces,pixel samples 6,shading 0.2,displacement 0,Irradiance cache: 0,Sample size:10,Intensity 1.00,Bounces 6,Samples: 1000,Irradiance Cache: 25,Precalculation scale: 1.0,Gamma Correction OFF

Last thing I would try render with Displacement 0 on yours scene,do you really need to have Displacement set at 0.1?
