Downloaded this yesterday - stunning as per usual. I always look forward to your products (along with those preview portraits in the gallery, the above being the best to date) and am never disappointed and the dual support for V3 and S3 is an great bonus. Congradulations on a another excellent job. I too am keeping an eye out for Layla and the Red Devils!
Thread: Why so many pinups? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Now take a look at the characters used in these pin-ups. Look at the differences between those characters designed by men and those designed by women. This is a generalisation and so there are exceptions but those designed by the men often look very alike and artificial. What I mean by this is that they ape the look of surgery, silicone breasts and collagen lips. It is as if the common conception of beauty is the artifical look. Not at all the look found in 50s pin-ups, for example. By contrast, women's women tend to look much more natural - even with a large bust. They are also far more beautiful! In addition to this, the best naked vicki's, that is the one's that don't bore you silly or drive to despair, are usually by women. They make more of an effort. I've nothing against the naked form, I like it. But it is only interesting with some effort and imagination!

Good words but not Ghandi - Martin Luther King. As for reserving barbaric punishment for barbaric acts, two wrongs don't make a right! Because another does something evil, doesn't make it OK for us to commit evil! We are supposed to be better!

How about Verity? Or, if you like the Welsh, Bronwin! Anyway, she's a sweet looking lass, perfect for fairy renders - I wish you the best with her.

There is another plug in for Steph Petit. Again, I wonder why? She shares the V3 textures perfectly - there are lots of joint V3/S3 characters now after all!

Hmmm. There are easy ways of keeping poser under control. I only have a 6Gig drive, most of which is taken up by software. But thanks to a CD writer and one of the Poser Uninstallers from the marketplace, I manage to use poser with a large collection of goodies. To begin with, you need your runtime folders in zips (just install those DAZ files to a temp folder and zip them!), then you transfer them by theme (and properly catalogued on the cover) to CDs. Now you use your installer/uninstaller (which can be run whilst using poser) to install items as you want them and when your finnished, select them from the list of installed items and click uninstall. It couldn't be easier and the program only cost about $15. If you want to uninstall items you've installed previously, thats not a problem either. Select the item's zip file and you can add it to your list of installed items without installing it - and now you can uninstall it.

Its an imperfect solution that requires confidence in the merchant (that you find from many newcomers) and/or the willingness to risk a less secure means of transfering payment. Overall I think that in practice, merchants will stand to loose quite a lot in income. The risk requires suitable stakes - this site does not seem overly censorious and a degree of inconsistency is always to be expected with regard to adult material. Are we really keen to open the floodgates to anything at what aims to be a broadly inclusive community and marketplace? Matterial that is of too strong a nature would perhaps be inappropriate in this context, being offensive to many. Are the stakes really high enough to warrant that sort of action, would the result be worth it or even fully welcome? I think Life is too complicated to talk about absolute rights, or to believe in black and white scenarios - but I don't intend to stray too far into philosophy here. (at least, not without invitation)

Hmm... the trouble with a boycot is that you would not just be affecting Renderosity but the merchants who rely upon it as a venue for making a living! It would be no good blaming Renderosity for their loss due to the dissatisfaction the site causes because that loss is still something that you would be choosing. Life is just complicated that way. Some battles are always loose / loose affairs. You choose the losses that trouble you least and accept responsibility for them.

7SeAs' Poser Product Manager is the one I use (about $15)- it installs product files from runtime folders in zip files (which is how most MP products are supplied) and adds them to a list of installed products. You can then just select them to uninstall! It does leave the odd png behind but the benifit is enough to overlook this.

The uninstallers in the store for poser work just fine. I only have a 6Gb hard drive, most of which is software, so I needed this to make Poser an option for me. The only problem is that it doesn't delete folders - so there is still some scrolling to do in poses but that's easily cleared up every couple of weeks. I now have everything in zip folders (including the DAZ products) on CDs and install/uninstall as required. You can even install products whilst working within Poser - so you don't have to have thought of everything before you start!
