Someone had a video of it on youtube, it seems really good and I'd love to see something like that in Poser.
Thread: How many figures have you REALLY got? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Installed:
Miki3, JessiG2, OliviaG2
Not installed but plan to be:
Miki2, Antonia, Millenuim Teens (is that what they're called?)
Not installed with no plan to install:
V4
I'd rather keep my collection small and focus on getting profficient at working with what I have before I spend money on other models and stagnate in skill.
Thread: Using A Default Figure | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Quote - Beats me. Maybe those who can't afford morph packs and texture sets.
I don't mind SP3 in the default state; it looks rather like Juliette Lewis. Even unmorphed V3 isn't bad looking.
In fact, P5 Judy looks superb when rendered without lights. :)
Anyone who uses Alyson or Alyson2 has no excuse for complaining since she has more face morphs than some morph packs combined.
Thread: Vue 10 Pricing | Forum: Vue
Quote - Renderholic, I'm hoping for a similar deal but I'm not holding my breath.
They already had their upgrade deal, I went from Vue8 Complete to Vue9 Complete for 100 dollars.

Quote - > Quote - Can anyone tell me what version of python Vue10 is using? I'm hoping it's the same as Vue9.
Python 2.7 (r27:82500, Aug 10 2010, 18:04:25) from console.
Mazak
I haven't noticed a console in Vue before, is that an Infinite/xstream only thing?
The reason I asked was my concern with the ability to use Skinvue 10 in Vue 9 when it's eventually released. Skinvue 9 wasn't compatable with Vue 8 due to different python versions and I am really hoping that's not going to be the case.

Sweet!
Did you model the arm/legs yourself? I'd love to have it with limbs, it's given me a great idea. :D
Thread: EXTRA! EXTRA! Read All About It - Poser 9 Is HERE (almost) ... ;=] | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Quote - Nice. Especially the drag n drop auto conform and scene category.
Though bit surprised theres no new content.
You can already drag and drop autoconform clothes in Poser 8, but maybe you're talking about something else?

Oh, looks awesome.
By double beds do you mean bunk beds? I've been looking for a bunk bed prop forever.
Thread: preview lights vs render | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Quote - Ha Apple_UK you're humorless. My answer was funny, and made exactly the same point, and answered the question perfectly, with a minimum of time spent.
I'm sick and tired of posting thousands of answers to questions and occasionally some 400 poster complains about my style.
Did you know it is a TOS violation to complain about communication style? Hmmm?
Did you know it's also really obnoxious to complain that you don't like the answers I give to somebody else who clearly understood me immediately?
Bah.
Thanks - you've made me annoyed with Rendo again. I was going to post more info on tile floors, which people are very anxious to learn of, but between you and Vintorix, you can all just go figure this lore out yourself. I'm gonna take me a little forum break.
Perhaps the problem is that some people can't tell if you're joking/being sarcastic/anything else. Just like the post I'm quoting, I have no idea if you're making a joke or being serious.
Thread: ISO V4 bent Knee Morph | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Sorry to be OT but dlm4001, I couldn't figure out what was in your avatar until I looked really closely and saw it was a cat. I didn't see the nose on top and thought it was some strange monkey creature with a trumpet hanging on a wall.
I just had to get that out there. Yep.
Thread: The "Isn't Dynamic Cloth Brilliant" thread | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I've started using dynamic clothing and it's addictive! :D
Though I do have some questions:
I can't find any dynamic clothing for Miki2, is there a good place to find any or can I use the Miki3 dynamic clothing that I see here on rendo since they should be similar in size?
If I don't zero a figure and it's morphs, how hard is it to get the clothing to drape correctly?
Are dynamic clothes interchangable between figures if I just scale the clothing before I clothify it? It seems like it might.
Thread: POSER MEMORY PROBLEM | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Quote - Oh dear, another thread there people talk about RAM when they should talk about virtual memory (read: RAM+page file)... Adding RAM will not make a scene render which didn't render before if there was already enough virtual memory available to Poser before... You should check that first.
You coult try to turn off "adaptive bucket size", that way Poser 6 used about 200-300 MB more memory before quitting in my tests.
If he installs more ram he won't have to depend on the much slower, inneficient and hd intensive virtual memory. If he is getting an OOM error, then yes adding more ram will help him finish his work and renders. VM only gets used when all available physical RAM is used up.
I would also try a maleware scanner and antivirus scans to see if you accidentally downloaded some spyware or virus that's causing memory issues.
