Just browsing around in galleries again..how can some images (nudity ones) have around 200 viewings and no comments whatsoever? Beats me.. or actually it doesn't.

Well, sex sells, there's not much we can do to change that...I don't really see the artistic value in making an image of somebody who's naked just for the being naked bit. I mean there's a difference between crude and erotic. And hey I'm a teenager :P

Yeah, thanks a1000, that looks great. Funny that, the colours were strange on 2 different computers I use but now they look normal again. Thanks. I just redid this pic in B/W today..I must say I like it much better that way...I'll post that in the gallery once I get it scanned.

I live in a tiny little town in New Zealand, I should get some photos... would be quite a contrast to the other images here. Also, we are right next to a 2500m tall mountain which is rather special. I was so fascinated with it when I first came here, but now it's just one of them everyday things...

I realise that this topic probably already has been discussed in and out, and you must all be sick of newbies like me bringing it up. I just didn't, and still don't, really, understand the policy. I have allowed people to rate my images because I thought that was what I was supposed to do...but to me it is quite worthless. I don't want this to be a competition thing. I'm on this site because I want to learn, more than anything else. I have stopped rating images and I'll stop allowing people to rate my images because I understand that it's not about the ratings.. First time I came here that's what I thought the whole thing was about, the people who introduced me to this site are people who won't be satisfied with anything less than a 10.00. Just as I find movie ratings in newspapers (like.. 1-6) completely useless, it's the same thing here. I totally understand why people want ratings on their images though, it is like a reward if they get a high rating and gives them motivation to be even better next time. Anyway thanks for putting up with me and this old topic. I gotta say, it's good to come here and get some positive feedback on my pictures.... I do photography as a school subject, and my teacher (who has worked as a professional photographer) has never said anything really positive about what I do. I think if it hadn't been for renderosity I wouldn't be doing photography anymore. ~M~

I can't view these photos as my browser is acting up.. I love B/W photos, like it has already been said here, it appeals more to the imagination. I often use normal colour film, and get it developed without prints, and then print them in the school's darkroom in B/W. It doesn't seem to make a difference whether I use B/W or colour film, but I find that colour film often makes softer grey tones. ~M~

Oh at home..where I am now....this computer is a bloody joke...can't make anything run on it. I actually have Photoshop on a CD, and I tried installing it but this computer just doesn't have enough space to run it (thanks to the game junkies in the house) so I am a little lost for what to do. I've tried covering up the scanner while scanning but I still get those annoying streaks of light across my photos. It's quite annoying but oh well..I normally scan my photos at school and upload them from home. Although this isn't really my 'home', that's why I can't do what I like with the computer. I'm living here for a while...while I go to school here in New Zealand. When I go back to Norway, where I'm from, everything will be sweet...got my own puter there at least... The computer equipment I have now though, is just crap and it annoys the hell out of me! But I better stop moaning and make the most of what I have. We used to have Paint Shop Pro but now we can't make that run anymore....Oh and my browser doesn't work properly either, so a lot of the time I can't view what's posted here properly. This computer is seriously stuffed up, when I start up and it goes through Bios I get a big fat juicy message saying 'BIOS not installed!' Gah.. I miss my computer! ~M~

Hey ho, it's me again... Inspiration? Basically...I look for the unusual in the usual. I can sit for ages and stare at things most people I know find completely normal, boring and even uninteresting. I see photos everywhere, but most of the time I don't have a camera with me...as I can't do my own printing in B/W anymore it costs too much for me to do this regularly, when I occasionally have money to spare I spend it on photography. I don't know what inspires me - I don't even know if I know what inspiration actually is. Sometimes, I just see things that I HAVE to get photos of. Like today...I had a brilliant photo opportunity but..alas, no camera. A woman was sitting on a bench with a head beside her... You know, one of those plastic ones with fake hair kids play with...it looked so incredibly creepy, the woman was dressed in all black except a bright red stripe on her top, her hair was jet black and she was wearing sunglasses..and this head sitting on the bench right next to her. I had to walk around the block again and hope she was gone when I came back because it just annoyed me so much that I had no camera. It still gets to me!!! Arrghh! Heh... I can relate to what was written about rambling, yes...don't expect me to make sense, because if you don't, at least sometimes there's a slight chance you'll be pleasantly surprised... Aaaaaaaanyway time for a little marshmallow to go to bed. ~M~
