Thread: Looking for a copy of an old newsletter freebie | Forum: Community Center
"Freebies" and things like vendor offered "BOGOS" don't appear in your account. I learned awhile ago that I would generally rather have 50% off a product rather than a "Bogo" because it became hard to track whether I had already purchased it. Then, too I would lose the opportunity to have it backed up in an account if my HD crashed, which given the amount of data that Poser and 3D generates becomes a painful proposition. Having it in your account then has value with Rendo and Daz, but Smith Micro lets things expire - even if you pay extra -so it doesn't really matter there. I rarely buy characters at SM in large part because of that policy..
I have the FW Crystal character listed in my records as a V4 character "freebie" offered by FWArt on or around November 10, 2012, if the date helps. If FWArt gives permission I can look for it and see if I can send it to either you or back to FWArt, at the artist's direction. FWArt may not have it anymore either for the same reason.
Thread: Is there a way to sort Wishlist by recent additions?? | Forum: Community Center
Thanks diogenese, Thanks Kristi.
I was looking at the bank of colored buttons. The search and sort by button was hiding off my screen at the top. Once I knew what to look for I scrolled up and found it quite easily.
Kristi, I was thninking.
Maybe a different way to accomplish what I'm looking for is not multiple wishlists but rather add one or two extra purchase carts/ being able to split a cart/ make a buffer sales cart.
Here's a problem I've experienced a couple of times:
In the case of the sale I was considering purchasing more than I did, and the way that I would have done that is purchase a rendo gift certificate in addition to the fixed Visa debit card I had. But in order to do that I would have had to delete my entire shopping cart, buy the additional Gift Certificate then reload items from a raather large cart. Being able to break a shopping cart into one-3 carts has an advantage if there are items you like and can buy if you go out and get more funds. I use the cash gift cards because it avoids running enthusiastic debt on a credit card but it also means I have to plan ahead.
An in between way might be to add multiple ways of payment on a single order. Multiple gift cards, multiple gift certificates. I think RDNA has/had this capability for example.
Thread: Rendo Bsns Case: Why Vertical Layout when my machines all Horizontal? | Forum: Community Center
For me the big picture is I am looking at a page design that seems to only really work vertically on my machines. Even if you take a way the banner, when promos are viewed you just can't see them other than maybe 1/3 at a time. Swipe fingers on a tablet or turn the tablet sideways and it's probably ok. But viewing on a graphics server or PC or laptop with a pad or a mouse as I do is downright painful. And, yes, has been since the redesign. I figured it would sort itself out, but it hasn't. If the majority of Rendo users purchase from a laptop or PC this may be a sizeable problem slowing sales. If the majority purchase from a phone or tablet it's probably not an issue. I figure it is probably a marketing case where most users purchase from phones or tablets and that I am in the minority, but I wanted to ask about it anyway.
Thread: Should I give content creation another go? | Forum: Community Center
I went to the survey but it is no longer active. I am directed to a page that says the following:
Poser/DS Marketplace Survey The form Poser/DS Marketplace Survey is no longer accepting responses. Try contacting the owner of the form if you think this is a mistake.
EDIT Oops I see you say you closed the survey. Sorry. Didn't read through the whole thread.

Thanks Kristi.
I guess I'm sort of surprised that others don't have the same issue. Or maybe they do and they've decided to live with it? It's just that in the past I've spent so much time on the site. If most people are purchasing on Tablets or iPads these days rather than laptops or desktops (and then working on graphics stations) that might be an explanation? Just turn the tablet vertical, which I can't do on my machines.
Thread: Concidering Getting Prime: Info request on advertised freebies | Forum: Community Center
I've had Prime since they started it. I asked about the freebies early on last year and then heard nothing except the equivalent of "we're working on it". Last month in going through the forums I found that they had indeed instituted monthly freebies. Apparently the monthly freebies come out at some not particularly well-defined time near the end of the month. The most reliable way to know they exist appears to be to check the PRIME forum. Once the new freebie is out they discontinue access to the old freebies, and I'm not sure why since they are posted in a PRIME forum that others, such as yourself, don't have access to if they're not a paid member. The irony is that if you ARE a PRIME member you can go back and see what has been offered, you just can't have any of them. I personally am a little bit ticked since I've been a Prime member; I have effectively had access one freebie for the entire year. Further, it appears Renderosity does not put these monthly freebies into your account if you do get to them.

Yes. Looked for the portable apps version of Google Chrome. Unfortunately it does not guarantee that it doesn't add anything permanent to my machine.
Except, perhaps, for the Renderosity site, Firefox works just fine. I don't want to muck up my machine adding a browser I would only use for Renderosity. Sorry. I am surprised that others don't have the same issues, though, as I don't think I'm doing anything special or unusual, and I don't think I'm being overly sensitive. It's just that nothing really fits; It's hard to view vendor products as the site seems oriented to a vertical format and all my screens are horizontal. It has been this way over a year now, that's why I thought it might be a business case.
Thread: Rendo Bsns Case: Why Vertical Layout when my machines all Horizontal? | Forum: Community Center
Hi Kristi.
(1) I don't have Google chrome at the moment; I had troubles with it on a previous machine and did not load it. ...But I can look for a portable apps version over the weekend (same as regular but doesn't get into the registry). (2) For me this size issue has been consistent. You're looking at it through Firefox 46.0.1

Kendra, Here's What I see after having reduced the screen display area to 80%. In the shot attached I have clicked on Mamota's MMPretty-AS-Skirt_DSetForV4EliteA Icon and just been redirected to the product. At 100%, or normal display I see much less. Jules, How do I enact (or when) "Ctrl-" and what is it supposed to do? Here's the screen shot (Hopefully):
You can gage by looking at the slider to the right how much effort it takes to see the whole page being presented. This is normal for Renderosity, but not most other sites. What you see is the entirety of my computer screen.
EDIT: OKAY I see: Ctrl - does the same thing as reducing the screen display size in the hash bar.

Bought PPro11 but haven't installed it. Am using PPro2014 Game developer quite nicely. Content is getting too Daz centric for me.
Thread: What is correct file path for P11 | Forum: Community Center
I keep the 32 bit because there are python programs that will only run 32 bit. D3D may have changed, but originally some of his scripts for tanlines, etc. were my motivation.
Thread: Daz Overload | Forum: Suggestion Box
I would welcome sorting out products that only work on DAZ or with Daz characters from those that work on Poser Characters. I run Poser not Daz, and DSON hasn't cut it for me. I won't be buying items that work only on DAZ for obvious technical reasons related to not running the software, not because I don't like them or don't want them. Seeing an item, clicking on it and reviewing it only to find I cannot use it is not a good use of my time on your site or anybody else's.
