Cybercrash, I don't know why this has happened, but I suspect Renderosity (or their server) as the culprit. This morning I revisited your site and the images loaded completely in a matter of seconds (2-5)!! I apologize about my earlier comment. Bear in mind that this sizes may still appear somewhat large for a lot of people. BTW, Some very creative images with great use of layers and compositing!! Nicely done! - Art -
Thread: hey everyone | Forum: Bryce
Uh...Cyber, Welcome to the Forum! A word of advice. Your images are too large and take way too long for someone to view them unless they have a lot of patience. I'm connected via cable modem and they still took forever to load. If they seem to load fine for you, it's more likely because you are seeing them load in locally or from your computer. Needless to say a person on a 56k modem is not going to sit there and wait several minutes for one image to load. I'd recommend 648x480 or 800x600. Good luck either way and again welcome! - Art -
Thread: Export Terrain Model as DFX in Bryce 3.0? | Forum: Bryce
Dragongirl, I tried my ver.of Bryce 3 and found no provision to export an object as a .dxf. Bryce 4, however will allow one to export a terrain / lattice as a .dxf file. Unless someone has found a way or if you can convert the .obp, I'm afraid you'll have to go the way of Bryce 4. Check online first, but I did recently see it (Bryce 4) at a local computer show for $99.00. Regards, - Art -
Thread: New Bryce Animation | Forum: Bryce
Really nice Dave. A few points: Lack of wave motion Painted on textures of green around the rocks and white at the water's edge just doesn't look very realistic. Just below the plane, on the water's surface, there is the reflection of the plane. As the plane moves closer, the reflection slides off to the left of the picture? The Cessna looks pretty good and the sounds are a nice touch. All in all a pretty nice effect! - Art -

Nice to have you with us Kathy! This is a very nice pic! You might consider adding a marble texture to the posts and railing. Best wishes, - Art -

Hi Bee, Bryce opens with Director view as the default which means that you're looking into the camera. Toggle the Control Scene View (little 3D mountain w/primitives) or click on the tiny chair to the left and you will be in Camera View. These will basically give you a 180 view from the previous. Sometimes I click on the round button just to the right of the 3D mountain for a fly around view. You can move your mouse while in this mode and view your wireframe scene from all directions. It's all a matter of how you look at it (pun ok). Welcome and good luck, - Art -

Very cool! Great job on the Faerie anim. Was certainly worth the 1 min. 45 sec. download!
Thread: now look what I've done... | Forum: Bryce
Looks great but don't expect me to help ya wax that thing! I wouldn't live long enough! I like Inkwolf's suggestion or perhaps a more battle worn version. Good luck with the exams!
