I think you can assemble that from figures at the 3D Comic Collective and some trans maps, if you're using p4. That might not be easy, but it should be cheaper... :-)

As an aside, I saw a poster for a show when I was in Vegas that I could have SWORN was done with Poser figures - only to see an ad for the show on television and see that either the entire performance is digital or the people are actually made to look "plasticy" and artificial... I've seen Poser-only renders that looked more real than the cast in that show!

Here's a strange thought - have you considered trying to use the CR2 for the figure wearing the dress instead of one for a similar piece of clothing?

Are you re-sizing the chest and thighs? This is a common "side effect" of that - and some of the clothes weren't scaled right. Magnets can help with this, as they can be used - IF YOU SCALE THE ZONE and base correctly - to affect only one face of the model, if you have the patience to figure them out (I don't! :-)) Using the Taper dial will sometimes help with negative values enlarging the edges of the item. You can also "cheat" like I often do, and re-color the base figure's Texture Map to make the exposed body parts resemble the clothing... :-)

Some work, some crash the program. One factor is the number of polygons; there's a utility in Free Stuff to count these, and a thread below that discussed how to use this. They WILL give "unexpected version" errors, even if they don't crash the program, but some will work.

You need to use OBJ files, I think - there are a few tutorials on it out there; I can't remember where I saw them, but at least one is linked on the right. You also may have to flip the texture 180 degrees, if you're using Bryce 3

Very nice. However, the light (given the flares; it looks like one of those mirrors with a bank of lights at the top) seems to be coming mostly from the right of the figure (which is left hand side of the picture), and yet that side of the model is the side (in the reflection) that is in shadow.

I've gotten erratic results with UVMapper since the last Poser bug fix. Frequently when I apply a UV Mapper created base texture, Poser applies it as-is to each material separately. I'm not sure what's causing this! Before this I had some great results with the program once I finally figured out how to use it!
