Subject: Poseable Scarf?

I thought I saw someone mention one of these a while back, but can find neither the reference nor the person anywhere.... I think this would be possible with a deformed torus and a bunch of IK chained/parented squares and a mix of texture, bump, and transparency maps(which I may have to test this weekend), but if someone has done something like this already, that would make life a lot easier... ;-)

There's a posable cloth prop on the FS pages that could easily be a scarf.
