Thread: DAZ I love you but I hate your site | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
OK, so Steve asked for it! I would like to see all updates for purchased products listed on your login page. I just discovered that I missed a V3 male pack update that has been sitting around for months waiting to be requested. No wonder the Injection Pose program didn't have predictable results for me (doh!) Technically, there is no reason they can't. They have my login, all of the products (should be able to do a reverse lookup if the tables are set up properly), the date of the purchase......all it should take is a single SQL statement or two and they would have a set of n most recent updates.... I don't mind having to email to request them, but looking for the invoice number can be a hassle, especially if the update is months after purchase. Eric
Thread: CL did something right!!! Less CPU hammering under SR3 or so it seems | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
How does it compare to PP, if you folks don't mind saying. I just upgraded to PP and am very happy (needed to stay with 4 for vue) Starting to really want that cloth room, though. eric
Thread: DAZ3D Platnum Club Rant | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Yeah, I can't complain at all about the PC offerings, not or in the past. There have been periods where they were putting stuff up there that wasn't particularly of interest to me, but there are so many items in the back catalog that I still managed to get a couple each time I placed an order. This is the way a subscriptions work. You plunk down your cash and hope that what you saw at issue 1 was the same.....it is a risk. I don't want to flame anyone, but these sort of rants don't do anyone any good. The most likely outcome would be for DAZ to pull the PC for fear of being unable to satisfy enough people to get the cash needed to make it a viable sales channel. I would hate to see that. I've found many of my favorite new toys in the offerings at PC. If you have a problem, email someone with some suggestions of what you would like...and be patient. V3 is the focus of their marketing....they still have a long way to go before the next big figure is out. Once it is ready, it will then assume the focus (and become the theme new offerings) Eric
Thread: Coming Friday to Platinum Club....V3 Hooded Conforming Morphing Cloak w/Lining | Forum: MarketPlace Showcase
Hey anton, is that the millenium cube in that promo picture :P Looks great. The platinum club keeps getting better all the time. Thanks for the great products. eric
Thread: Ironhart's May Cottage and the Flyer Freebie | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I get ebot responces regularly, but the flyer is somewhat hit or miss. I did get the weeks flyer featuring the new house (thanks ironheart) but not the one from tuesday :( I just figured it would come out later, until now. eric
Thread: Win Some Free Boots for V3 | Forum: MarketPlace Showcase
These are really great! Do they have morphs to make them shorter (like a calf boot?) You will probably make a liar out of me (I said no more poser clothes for the rest of the year........I can do that.....LOL) SciFi Super Buckle Boots (ok too many words) Morphing Buckler's Boots Maybe I'll try another guess later....too sleepy eric
Thread: CLOTH ROOM************* | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Here's a question I've been pondering, whilst trying to talk myself out of dropping more cash on 3d software (do I spend it on poser 5.....xfrog.....or the house- not a 3d house...lol!) For stills, is the clothification thing a huge step above conforming clothes? How long does it take to transform a stiff dress shirt over mike2? thanks, Eric

Thread: M3 wish list for Daz | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I disagree with the request to drop the female morphs. I think they did a good job with Stephanie and V3male......the two work nicely as alternatives. My main complaint with Mike2 is his size (too beefy looking). I'm a computer nerd, so I think of skinny (or used to be skinny) when I think of guys, and Mike just is a pain to cloth with you start trying to lose his normal shape. I agree with the idea for stocky. Scaling the Y axis down is a decent first step, but generally looks silly. As for clothing, I'm just hoping someone offers some business style clothes for the V3 male.....then I'll have some use for 'im (sounds pretty boring, eh?) eric

So, Peng, Any luck with vue 4? (I think I saw you mentioned using it a time or two at PP) eric
Thread: Story Book Princess Morphing dress textures.. | Forum: MarketPlace Showcase
Well, I bought starry nights, and was going to use it for some renders for a scene in a story, but if you do a red and black one for this outfit, the sitting morph makes it far more usable (plus, I really wanted to use V3 for the character....woohoo!) Your textures are some of my favorites! Oh! You should also feel guilty for being the reason I bought the collar. My first impression was "what would you use that for?" Ffter seeing glitter, I was sold! eric

Sounds like the mac files got used for the windows version. Worth trying maconverter to see (I don't have it, so I can't say) Mac files do have the rsr (thumbnail) in front of the regular cr2 stuff...so that sounds likely. Also, macfiles use a different return character sequence, which makes them look awful in notepad (wordpad should show the returns properly, however) eric
