Thanks.  Having read some of the other threads in this forum it occurs to me that Tipol may never have received my question.  Tipol has given a product credit to a figure that she says she used for these images, but, looking at that character, it's obvious that isn't the character she used.

I've had the same trouble adding an image to a forum post (on Firefox).  I think it was because I wasn't allowing the image to upload before I was posting the message.

Male characters/skin by figure (such as Genesis 2 male, M4) is even better.

Genesis Import fine with Cr2 exporter :) (Dson did not work atm)

Sorry, I don't understand this.  Are you saying that Genesis will import to Vue from DAZ Studio using a Cr2 exporter, or that Genesis will import to Poser from Daz Studio with the Cr2 exporter? 

Genesis will export from Poser into Vue with Poser dynamic cloth and shaders untouched?  What do you use, or what file type is it, that you import Genesis to Vue?

I have only downloaded the trial version of Vue Studio 8, and there is no .pdf instructions file, and the HELP menu is disabled.

I downloaded and installed the Vue Studio application onto my Mac running Snow Leopard.  There are no instructions for using it.  I clicked on the HELP menu and it gives me the mesage:
"Unable to locate documentation file /Application/Vue 8 Trial/Documenation/Vue 8. pdf.  Please re-install the application."

I reinstalled the application and clicked HELP and tried clicking on the menu items in the dropdown menu and got the same message.

I looked in the Vue application folder on my hard drive and there is no documentation pdf file there.

I don't know if the trial version of Vue just doesn't come with documenation for the help menu, or instructions, or whether it is a Snow Leopard conflict.

Does anyone know?

You're right, the size of the aperture on the digital colour meter does effect the reading.  I've tried it small and large - both give me the wrong settings for the colour I want.

I'll take a look at the links you posted and see if I can use the information.

I'm using a 9 year old MAC and it's identifying the files as mpeg video files, which I guess is completely wrong.

I'll download the latest Blender version and UVMapper Classic.

I got Poser to import the .obj finally, by deselcting almost everything in the Blender export dialogue box, and by deselecting everything in the Poser import dialogue box.

I've tried it both ways, with the object selected, and without the object selected.  I still get an error message when I try to import in into Poser.
