Well, that's exactly the thing - then I have to send the person a private message let them know to check out the forum, where I might as well have just sent them a note on how I did it.

At the end of the day, it's up to 'rosity whether they want to do that or not, I guess. It does wonders for another big art site I know of... shrug

Regarding the forum link suggestion: I did actually think about doing that, but it just seems like a very round about way to get feedback on an image and I'm not entirely sure that people would be interested in going through that much trouble?

Who knows? I'll try it on a picture or two and see.

Fair enough. I know that that is BY FAR my biggest gripe with 'rosity at the moment - the fact that I can't thank someone for a compliment without a lengthy procedure.

Firstly, thank you for answering.

I have to ask though: Why not? Why wouldn't you want a discussion on the image? Most comments are but that - a discussion. But at the moment it's a one-sided discussion unless the poster starts noting to and fro.

I have seen it quite often that people post on their own images in answer to a comment that was left - be it an answer to a question or just a quick "Thanks" for a compliment. The problem is that the person it was intended for will NEVER see that comment, unless they go into the image again, which I'm sure happens very seldom.

I believe that allowing people to actually discuss images will be most beneficial as another tool to build the Renderosity community.

That's just my ten cents worth, feel free to pass me some change :)
