Quote - !. Tried the suggested regarding going back and selecting the part that didn't get sent to Bryce........still does not work.
2.  Lighting is not the problem. Â
3. Wasn't trying to send anything from Bryce.....was trying to use the DS button in Bryce and get the figure that way. I used to be able to do that with Bryce 5.5 and earlier DS version. I would open DS, import my Poser completed figure, and then it would go to Bryce. (the whole thing) Guess this doesn't work like that anymore. :-(
4. Will try that.
Thanks for the reply.
Re number 3
You cannot do it that way anymore. You set up the figure( I always save at this point) and then use the send to Bryce option. If you have saved a scene and then open it in DS3 then use the send to Bryce option it should still work.
Take a look at this http://forum.daz3d.com/viewtopic.php?t=144018
there are a whole pile of video tutorials about using Bryce 7.There is one specific one about how to use the bridge between DS and Bryce 7.
All of those tutorials are very useful and will teach you to to achieve some good result.
As to the lighting well it ISÂ the lighting that is affecting the textures.Get the lighting right in Bryce and the textures will improve.

1)Send figure through.Go back to DS3 and highlight what didn't go through and try again.
3)Open DSÂ first, open scene and then click on send to Bryce..At the moment to send from Bryce to DS you can only send terrains and they will be untextured.
As to 4 you will have to use the bug tracker over at Daz and report the issue.or go to support and read through the FAQ sheet provided. If your answer isn't there then contact them direct and complain.I've found them very helpful over technical glitches.
Thread: new tabbed layouts on product pages . . . | Forum: MarketPlace Customers
Quote - > Quote - The problem is due to a scriptlet being used to inject an iframe into the page, and because the page hasn't fully loaded, the injected HTML becomes the page content.
It seems uneccessarily awkward, I'd like to know why it can't be emitted directly into the HTML.
I see you've changed this, so the product pages are currently working.
Actually they are not working.

Quote - I'm not to happy with the new layout.. I'm unable to view the product pages. When I try viewing a product, it stays on the page for a bit and then redirects to something that never loads.
static.ak.fbcdn.net
What they said..I've got exactly the same issue.
Thread: New Store Layout (Feedback) | Forum: MarketPlace Customers
Hard to say whether I like the new look seeing as I cannot use the store in Firefox because of some glitch that leaves me unable to actually look at any products..
Ah well I'll save money while it's like this..

Yes I know.
Happily rendering one of those long renders that I've not been able to save at High Priority all this time..

I hate the bug report system..it's always rejecting my passwords or pretending I don't exist..Then the next time I go back it remembers me until the next time..

Quote - I guess I'm just lucky enough to use the hair that does...
Sadly I bought all the hair that won't. and I'm too mean to be buying more hair that will translate across..That could get real expensive.

Another problem I encountered was that some figures were going into Bryce 7 as animations and the figure would arrive reposed..
So I now remove animations from any figures in DS3 at the zero pose stage and I've had no problems importing any figures now.Well apart from the fact that most hair props won't translate across with the figure. They have to go through separately and be repositioned in Bryce.A bit tedious but not impossible..

I'm not..The price is way too high especially as I have acesss to Bryce 7 Pro for far less..

Quote - I'm stuck for cash at the moment (job problems) but I'm also just a tiny bit addicted to Bryce and my old B6 could do with an upgrade. Â As someone who models exclusively with primitives and doesn't even know what HDRI means (something to do with lights, yes?) I'm curious to know whether purchasing B7 will simply gift me with more bells and whistles I'll never use. Â There seem to be two versions on offer - B7 and B7 Pro. Â Help a noob out: which would be better for me, what are the benefits of upgrading and is there any substance to the horror stories about B7 elsewhere on this forum?
Cheers in advance.
EDIT: hope I don't come over sounding too dumb!
There are some excellent video tutorials on how to use the new bells and whistles over at Daz..they will help you to explore Bryce7.As to which version will suit maybe download the PLE (free limited version) and see how you go.

Quote - This time, after applying a snow material to the Terrain, I used the same channel that drives the Bump to also drive the Displacement.
With a Displacement value of just 3, it brings out in real polygonal detail in what the bump map used to fake.
Is that overhangs? That rarest of events in landscape applications? The sort I had to resort to trickery in Terragan?
