Oh Marvilla - what have you done? There's no way I'm going to be able to sit this one out with such a tempting theme! There go my work deadlines!! ;) And congrats on a well-deserved win. :)

Very difficult to choose but I'd have to plump for Marvilla because of the deft composition of a complex scene and the richness of the detailing. Myske's is gorgeous and misses my top spot only because it's more a superb example of inline compositing than a constructed Vue render. If this wasn't a specifically Vue challenge it would have got my vote - I know from hard experience it takes great skill and patience to integrate 2D elements into within a 3D framework as well as Myske's image! All the images were fantastic but the two above were definately the stand-outs for me.

So that's what happened to Bonnie Tyler! ;) Great image - the only flaw that leaps out at me is that the phase of the two moons (moon and a planet?) doesn't match the direction of the sunlight in the scene. I think the armour could do with a more metallic or plastic-like material? I also think there's too much ambient light in the atmosphere - I'm guessing a fairly thin atmosphere judging from the fact that the planet's moons are so visible in daylight which suggests low ambient light levels to me. Having said that, the big Earth-like planet/moon would probably reflect a lot of light back so I figure it would come down to artistic choice/licence... Overall, a lovely pic. :)

Should probably have mentioned I've only tried this with Daz's Vicky - but I imagine it will hold true with the standard Poser figures. K.
