whew! had a scare earlier , images wouldn`t save in Vue without being corrupted :( Poser files imported into Vue: Titan by Greg Henle Ultra Salon hair 7 terrains , 2 moons , and BugCargo carrier 5 lights added to scene still have a bit more to go , but ........ comments , suggestions?

So that's what happened to Bonnie Tyler! ;) Great image - the only flaw that leaps out at me is that the phase of the two moons (moon and a planet?) doesn't match the direction of the sunlight in the scene. I think the armour could do with a more metallic or plastic-like material? I also think there's too much ambient light in the atmosphere - I'm guessing a fairly thin atmosphere judging from the fact that the planet's moons are so visible in daylight which suggests low ambient light levels to me. Having said that, the big Earth-like planet/moon would probably reflect a lot of light back so I figure it would come down to artistic choice/licence... Overall, a lovely pic. :)

Just one small thing, it looks like her "wings" are embedded in the ground. Other than that Bonnie looks good!

Well, I disagree that the wings seem to be in the ground, since you can see by the shadows that they aren't, but it does sort of look that way. Optical illusion. I think it looks great, really, but I'd also agree about the highlights on the armor. Maybe a little more "glossiness" would be in order, meaning a smaller highlight size. I saw the other pic you posted. Yikes! What was that all about? It looked like a GIF with a "tile" filter on it. That just happened for no reason and not again?

thanks for the comments yall , will work on the suggestions. Some good comments, I appreciate that :) lighting techniques , is my next step with Vue and MikeJ , I dunno what happened, and Yikes! wasnt what I was thinking :) . I rendered 4 images of it and they all saved like that. A 1.2 Mb file size and it saved a 10k image, too bad it was just blotches , as I love that kind of compression ;) , Was so freaked I started doing what I could , ended up taking my backup environments folder and copying over the old one , and poof everything was right again. off to the drawing board..........

Interesting, something must have gotten corrupted, I guess. That's a new one. ;)

Interesting work, Cozmic. It looked to me, too, as if the "wings" were stuck into the ground, but following the shadows as Mike mentioned shows they're not and now I can see they're not. Kind of a persistent illusion, though. A change of lighting might clear that up. And I'd also suggest a more metallic material for the armor/spacesuit. But cool image, keep going! :)
