Understood.  I know the morphs are at issue on this thread, but I have to say that I do feel that the rest of the Elite line is, IMO, definitely not worth the money.  (IE, the Amy texture with it's stretched, distorted freckles on the shoulders.  That's just inexcusable.)

Actually, onimusha, you can still fine tune the morphs with other, specific facial features.  I don't know where that comment came from that they don't allow you to do that, because you can fine tune these just like any other, combining them with specific feature morphs, expression morphs, etc. 

You have your opinion, I have mine.  For me, variety is the spice of life, and these new morphs add to that, even if it doesn't seem like very much. 

I have a question (not sure if this has been asked before or not).  First, I want to say I love the results that we can get with VSS.  Awesome!  I was wondering though, I do love what it does to the eyes, however, is there any way to keep it from actually darkening the color?  I always end up with a much darker shade rather than the one I started with.  Any assistance in this regard is appreciated!

Thetis, the morphs are actually a very nice addition to the others.  When used in moderation (as with most morphs), they produce excellent results.  (I NEVER dial any morph to 1.)  And you actually get SIX morphs in the package - 3 body, 3 head.

Maybe try Vue Esprit combined with RDNA's Vue Render Studio?

Well, if it is any help, Conniekat8, here is how I reached my own decision NOT to buy the bundle.  1) I don't use Daz Studio so the Elite Shader is of no use to me.  2) Heaven knows I don't need any more pose collections (got far too many as is).  3) At least one of the textures has a major flaw (stretching at the shoulder distortion). 

So, I did purchase the morphs (of which you actually get six...three body, three head) which I am perfectly happy with.  I may yet purchase one of the textures, but that will be it.  I really don't need it either though.  I started playing around with bagginsbill's VSS  and Render Studio from RDNA today and am discovering I can get the same type of results (almost as good or even as good, IMO)  as what we are seeing with these new textures.

Skipychic, I don't know if this is related to your issue or not, but something you might want to check.  I had a problem with one of my runtimes not loading.  I got an error message stating that it didn't appear to be a runtime folder.  Sure enough, I checked it, and the heirarchy was hosed.  It just had "libraries" as opposed to the higher "runtime" named folder.  Simply fixed by adding a "runtime" folder and moving the "libraries" into it.  Now it loads up fine.

I have to say that I actually like the new morphs, though I do agree with you about the price.   The new morphs add yet another dimension to character creation.  The more variety the better in that regard.  (I never set any morph dial to 1.  I firmly believe that most of the time, less is better.)

Decision made.  I just got the morphs alone.  Until they improve the texture issues, I have no desire to have those.  Also, there are a couple of things in the bundle that I really don't need (poses) and can't use (the Elite shader...only for Daz Studio, which I will also never use).  So, there ya have it. 

I have a hard time believing that they have put out these product with such obvious flaws.  I would like to get the Elite bundle, but I have a hard time justifying the cost (even as a Daz PC member) for something that is just not entirely up to par. 

Yes, these textures are high quality and such, and I know a great deal of work went into them.  However, from what I am seeing and hearing, they have some major flaws in them as well.  You would think in going to such great lengths that they would have these things fixed before putting them on the market (ie, seams showing up and texture stretching, particularly on the freckled texture).  I would like to purchase the Elite bundle, but I don't want to spend that kind of money on products with such obvious flaws.

I quadruple checked what I entered.  It simply is not being accepted.  This is ridiculous.  I'll deal with it later.  Got better things to do at present.

I cannot find my serial number listed at CP.  I bought and registered my copy of Poser 7 directly through e-frontier.  Maybe that's the problem.

sigh  Go figure, they aren't accepting my Serial No. even though I registered it when I got the program and have had absolutely no problems in the past downloading the updates.  Just my luck.
