I guess i'd place the tattoos on the character's texture... Could need a little adjustments according to the character and the spot you put it on, though.

I tried... to try the demo, with Poser 6. But i always had error messages, and the FAQ didn't help. As i lack patience with software which do not work immediatly, i kindda gave up on the idea of purchasing it for now. I guess i'll give it a try when there will be a new demo online, because what this software does really sounds appealing. I kindda regret they made it as a python addon instead of an independant software though.

Once i made an entire kilt outfit (not a "skirt" type) by mixing a roman toga and some vicki skirt. I had made the necessary parts transparent, and i made a texture to fit both part of this outfit. The result was ok to me. If you have time, you may consider such an alternative...

About the marketplace research : if you go to the main marketplace and click on "poser" you'll have a "3rd party" hair section with lots of styles (link provided) You can also chose "poser" and then look at the "hair" section of each character. Thing is, there is not ONE goth style. I'm used to go to goth parties of festivals, and i would find difficult to find a common ground between the different "schools" of goth clothing, except the use of black. For a "romantic goth", you may try a long coat, like the one in the "vampire hunter" serie at Runtime DNA, associated with some black pants inside black boots and a "poet shirt" (i remember getting one at poserworld long ago) or a "pirate" style shirt. Bleechy long hair and a pale texture (like Samildanach's) would complete the overall effect. Definetely one goth style. If you prefer a modern "electro" goth style, then you'll need any type of latex/leather outfits, provocative. In both cases don't forget the jewels. Silver claws, big rings, skull earrings, maybe some jeweled cross or a nice pentagram as a necklace. Some of them may not be that easy to find in Poser though... I really have got bad experiences with Nvidia drivers updates... I had ben caught once in the "infinite loop" error because of such drivers, so now i do really prefer having a good video card with an accurate driver when i buy it, which avoids me some potentially dangerous upgrades. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" (old computer saying) ;)
