The list of features is not too helpful. I've found in the past that "Elements" was limited by not having RGB Channels. [LAB is also nice...] Perhaps they have fixed this? I agree, Photoshop with its high price has many features I never use; but the cheaper packages often miss the one or two things I really need. For REALLY cheap, there is GIMP.

[$340] Does seem pricy. Wonder if two ordinary polarizers rotated relative to each other would work about the same? 'course, a 77mm filter will be expensive in any case.

I've not had much of a need beyond a polarizer for saturating colors, and a skylight for removing UV. The graduated ND sounds, in theory, useful. Back when I used B&W film, the deep RED, Yellow, and Green filters were useful. Now I shoot in color and use the Channel Mixer in photoshop for the same affect. I can see that some of the starburst, rainbow, etc. would be fun. But I'd have to find them in a garage sale or on eBay. ALL of the photoshop filters are fun!

hmm.... I'm jumping in here late. Whatever you did in the Gallery post was purrfect. What a wonderful reason to carry around a small camera!

"a piece of drainpipe with a lens in it" Looked quite a lot like that to me also. Wonder if I could build one with a body cap, some flexible plumbing, and a cheapie lens? Though cleverness should be rewarded, I think $150 is a bit steep. Sure looks like fun though...
