I skipped Poser 12 and 13 for their tiny upgrade values, after Poser 11 just p*ssed already me off for the same reason.
Maybe Poser 14 could count as a full upgrade from Poser Pro 2024.

Impressive cheating.
Instead of generating AI or a "make up AI", they'd better had an AI, that can help with shaders going by categories like "Skin", Hair, Mucus, Fabric, Wood, Metal, Stone and so many more.
AI could have helped with an ongoing standard problem of all figures and their characters, the joint bendings. Could have helped with animation too, like fixing that old feet skating problem and adding micro movements to moves and expressions for more realism.
So Poser finally has its make art button. 
So, be happy with your work, but does it really give you the satisfaction, that actually YOU created this, or was it your AI friend, who did the work for you?
This must be the curse on Poser.
Every company, who earned this in its idea great software, is cursed to make most likely make the wrong decisions.

I have vested too much in Poser program (characters, clothing, etc.... probably more than $20,000 since "Poser 4" days) to change to DAZ. Thanks for the advice though.

You would need to drop several hundred dollars on 3rd party apps just to approach feature parity.

I have been playing with Poser for over twenty years and came to it late in my life so I guess I am in the 'you cannot teach old dogs new tricks' point in my life.  For me the discussion of AI in Poser is really just a reincarnation of the 'make art button' that so many have been seeking for years.  I personally have no interest in it with regards to Poser, although I am very keen to improve my skill set in Poser as I suspect I have only scratched the surface.  One aspect of AI I have a problem with is that many pictures are created by using art work already created by someone else and that really does not lay easy with me.

G9 feels like a big step backwards from G8 in a lot of ways, much harder to make content for and the over-reliance on high subdivision to get any basic anatomy details. Going back to the androgynous base shape and the simple tube topology of very old figures is baffling.

Could this be the reason?

Having a first look at the promos, LaFemme 2 looks in fact way better, than LaFemme (1). A little to much stylized for my taste, but show me any figure or character, that is not stylized.
The extra available Face and body morphs on the other hand sets don't look very appealing to me.

Any purchases not from the Daz website have to be manually installed.

I have seen 8k normal maps for G8F over at RenderHub. I  don’t really like G9 either, although male characters are actually great.

The first and second pictures over at the Poser Pulse page indicate problems with forearm bendings on LF2. Some Joint Controlled Morphs should be added by the figure development team..

Sometimes it just helps to copy files from the Material to the Pose folder and renaming the those files from *.mat to *.pz2.
