Here is a camera tutorial that covers the camera use that I think might help answer your question I hope it helps

Go into Camera view, then press N for the control panel, then in the View tab under "View Lock", check the option for "Lock Camera To View". Now when you move around with the middle mouse button, it will not jump out of camera view. Press 0 on numpad if you do wish to exit camera view.

A nice quick tip I learned if you right click on the 'Lock camera to view' Select add to Quick favorites. When you start a new scene you can just press Q and select the check box there. By default it is unchecked and for me it's a pain, but leaving it on can get messy at times as well (there is no undo for camera movements)

I am all new to Blender. In Blender 2.83, there is a scene view, that I can navigate through by using the middle mouse button. it has a focus on that center cube object. There is also a camera view, which shows the scene as it will be rendered. How can I navigate the camera view? Everytime I use the middle mouse button the camera view switches back to scene view. How am I to controll my camera view, if I can't look through my camera and move it at the same time?
