First off, thank you everyone for both your inputs and for responding so quickly.
PhilC, if I utilize your suggestion, would the process be somewhat like this: model the kneebrace and hinge as two separate objects in LW, go through the usual conforming, grouping process for the brace, then bring my two separate objects into Poser and finish building (attaching/parenting) it there? (hinge prop parented to brace figure?)
PS, PhilC, your OBJ2CR2 Converter is in my 3D tool arsenal. :)

Quote - My SpawnCharacterP6 (here in freestuff) script might be useful here.
Create your morph using whatever method and tools you like, and load it onto the character.
Make sure NONE of the DAZ morphs have a setting other than zero, in fact, if the morph is for M3, it's best to UNload all DAZ morphs from him!Now run the SpawnCharacterP6 script. It'll create an INJ/REM pose pair for you, you can even select which PBM_CC channel it should use!
It'll be a full body morph pose, you'll have to strip out everything that's not on neck, head and possibly eyes. I use CR2Builder by kim99 (free download) for this kind of work.
Thanks for all the info svdl, I'll DL your script and CR2Builder and see if I can make sense of it as I'm still on a huge learning curve in this area. :)

Quote - You can set up an inj morph file to load to one of the empty PBM_CC morph channels .
This is something that I'm still on a huge learning curve with so would you happen to know of any good tutorials that would help guide me through this process?

I'm looking to possibly create some face and/or body morphs that could be applied to M3/M4 as a separate package.

A question came to mind from a vendor's perspective. Even though we seemed to have found the source of the problem, wouldn't this error message popping up cause this product I'm creating to fail during the 'Rosity testing stage since some people are apt to have that "update" function turned on and will more than likely receive that error message even though the conform works properly?

Actually, I unchecked that box, shut down Poser, took my newly created OBJ file and re-conformed it using ConCloth. I then opened Poser and attempted to conform my OBJ to M3. It did so without an error messages (so far as once the error message popped up a few minutes after I conformed my OBJ to M3 on my other computer. don't know if it did so because that computer is notoriously slow).
It's been a few minutes since I did so and no error messages. I think your first suggestion was the source of the problem particularly since I haven't added any new Runtimes in over a year and this problem just happened yesterday, coincidentally when I installed the M3 SR1 update and M4.
Thanks so much for your help nruddock, it's greatly appreciated. :)

Also, I happened to install M4 base and it added an icon on my desktop which reads "Update Michael 4 base". Not sure if that has any bearing on it.

I did recently re-install the SR1 for M3. When you are referring to "updates on" do you mean in Posers "General Preferences" section under the "Misc" tab? ("Check for updates on launch" this check box was checked). If so, I need to uncheck this?
Interestingly to mention though was this, I was tinkering about with conforming my figure by doing it one of two ways, using 3D Dimension Tool Collection "ConCloth" routine and then later manually using Posers Setup Room. During that time that error only came up when I tried loading the CR2 created with "ConCloth", not with the CR2 created with Posers Setup Room.

Thread: Question regarding converting MC6 to MAT Pose files? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Sorry, unfortunately, I've since uninstalled and reinstalled Poser 5 (which for now seems to have corrected the problem). If it helps, I'll give you a detailed description of the two folders:
The first folder which contained the converted MC6 files to MAT Pose contained 47 converted textures in them. This folder displayed in my Pose library, however, upon opening it, only 1 out of the 47 files would show up in the display, and that file was the one used to remove all textures from the model.
The other folder which contained only 3 files, used for applying different poses to M3, did not show up at all in the Pose library.
I had checked all the extensions and they were all correct (all had .pz2 with corresponding .png).
I physically checked all the folders to make sure that they were actually there, and they were.
I had loaded these same folders/files into my son's laptop and it loaded fine without a problem.
So the only conclusion I can come up with so far is that there may have been some corrupted files in that particular Poser 5.
In any event, I appreciate your feedback and willingness to try and resolve this. :)

Yep, everything was checked and double checked. The perplexing thing is that it works fine on one computer yet on another it has problems displaying the files of one folder and the another folder altogether doesn't display at all.

Not a problem Anniebel, I still appreciate the fact that you took the time out to offer a solution.... and for that I am VERY grateful.
Once again, thank you. :)

Thanks for the feedback Anniebel, however the version number is not the problem here. For some strange reason, on one of my computers, some of the converted files are NOT being displayed in the Pose Library (even though they have been confirmed to be in that folder) yet on another computer, everything is working fine. I've since uninstalled Poser 5 (the one which had the problem displaying the folder and files) and reinstalled it back into my computer. Thus far, there doesn't seem to be a problem. Maybe that Poser 5 had corrupted files....who knows. While I would still like to know why this was occurring, I've since got it to work properly.
Thanks for the help/suggestions, its appreciated.
