Subject: Texturing tutorial

Hello, texturing has always been my Achilles heel and I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction.

I created a biped model in LW and wanted to know if there are any good detailed tutorials on the proper steps necessary to export it out of LW as an OBJ, (at which point I would create the UVs using Headus UVLayout) after creating the UVs I would load it into photoshop as an OBJ, create the final texture for my biped model, save it out of PS in the proper format for use with LW (not sure if I would use PICT, PNG, or JPEG, since I’m working with a Mac) load it into LW, and then apply it to my biped Mesh.

You might need to expand a little on just what LW is. I am reasonably knowledgeable regarding Photoshop as I have been using it since version 1 came out in 1990 but I have no idea what LW refers to. ????

LW  refers to Lightwave which is a 3D modeling/animation program from Newtek. ( like Maya and 3ds studio max)
