i remember the software "Gimp" has a special filter/fu script for making camo patterns... maybe you can try this ? or you are lookign for EXACT/real reference of actual IRL used camo ?

stupid noob question where is this warehouse ? i only manage to raise funds to buy v2 and m2 in the first half of this year, as replacement for posette and dork (using p4) because i went to poser very lately only to find out that those someday so popular figures were not supported either anymore... i dared to ask abotu wonderful freebies and commercial products i once saw on merchant's page once i was only a rosity watcher adn was not using poser myself (passive member) and i was insulted ans shotued because i DARED to ask abotu buying v2 product anymore so yes maybe an item have acycle of life but if you take the train 1 year late, you are glad there still are places to get what you missed i dont find warehouse in menues, can you explain me where it is ?

well if i read the official answer that means: we really dont have time to bother and count on nice people to diligently report us any fan arts so we can save time instead of looking tfor them you still can dare to try to put any fan art in your gallery, untilyou get caught, and this time we will bring havoc on you ! oki i would have preferred a more clear and direct langage: "Fan arts in ANYWAY portraying/featuring ANY character of ANY copyright Holder in ANY situation or USE of ANY SORT, no matter for sarcasm or praise, will be REMOVED and you will get a warning n your account" i understand such kind of langage, so why dont speak this one to me ? btw abotu asking authorisation: what do you do when you have a full webpage of contact email adresses for public relation, webmaster, commercial and such of a publisher/copyright older and that ALL adress return a mail delivery error ? you can ask authorisation but we never let your request to reach our eyes and ears ! and we wont bother givign authorisation, as soon as your request reaches us :) ah ah ah it is hilarious on the opposit, you can BET whatever you want that if a member here DESIGN a character, make it livea bit (story, website, flavor texts and such) someone will steal it, make money with it, copyright it and the member will have the pictures now "fan arts" removed :) hilarious, i long to see such a mess in fact you are allowed to BUY BUY BUY but NEVER EVER use or promote or anything. ah ah ah it is hilarious, i needed a good laugh those days assumedly it was made by and for people in their own little sheltered world that has not a single polygon in common wih ours :) so they really have another referential after all damn, even some video games characters in cg look better, any square enix chara design, any Tecmo's DOA heroin, nearly anything even in real time render engine look better and for her, well, would they ever had seen a Anan or a Tenten (which both look like realistic asiate women, guess it) but they are in their own little world and in this alternative twilight zonen this is a winner :) even the promo pictures at curious lab site look better i cant stop laughing, even the few attempts years ago of "virtual idols/stars" were better and yet unmentionned...

well i would not tell you to do the same but i would have a very strict position: NO :) i mean, i rather keep some control over the few lame junk i render and put on my website's gallery rather than letting it to spread away on some other medias/sites i do not have any control on. in case of problem (uh oh mister NOW yourpic became illegal because of this or that copyright, patent or whatever or new law that forbid to display obscene strawberries on swimsuits :)) i always can crash my website, delete all the stuff, remove it of whatever. If my work would go away on other shores, the troubles would still come back to me :) i had to react abruptly (though it was not intended or with anger, i swear) to people asking me authorisation to put my lame picture on their good website (while there were better artists around, which i advised them to cotnact instead of me...), and sorry if i sounded harsh. But when you say NO and don't want to debate over anymore, people tend to take it personnally (though it is not the way it was meant)

and then holding BOTH patents at same time would automatically grant you a patent over the patching/bugcorrecting/upgrading concept ? would be the hell of most software publishers ! :)

well the only advantage here is to keep the opportunity of downloading your own purchase history of RMP over and over again in case ov problem, not 24h-4try and it's gone policy as anywhere else i purchased stuff... aside from that (cheers, helgard :) ), well no poser communauty displayed enough variety and range of members to make me feel concerned or allowed to join in. Rosity did not either but at least it was a central portal i guess rosity is good for commercial, rmp, and product showcase... all things around this is just a clever lie and illusion and that's all :) what i wonder now is if i can dare the rendo admins in posting fanarts/copyrigthed derivated pictures of mine for which i DID GOT the authorisation of the true copyright holder without getting warning records on my membership account and be banned in less than 4 pictureS. it is a risky try and i dont even think i wanna take the bet on it !

yes i suppose anyone will claim they copyrigthed entire norse, dane, nordic, hungarian, east european, french, or whatever loe and legend and mythos ??? i mean, damn, korrigans, trolls, faeries, hobbits, leprechauns, et cetc etc, all those are creatures (or at least their name) that belong to very old mythos and lores after that, you can either portray some character bearing this name and with a look based on original mythos description, or design your character or a different view of the initial mythos one, still naming it the same.. now who will come and sue you ? i guess it is "first in first rules !" i mean as long as one darn lamer produce a book or a hollywood blockbuster with the name on it, the entire mythos or the name becomes his copyright :) because most people are too short minded and with too low memory (red fish syndroma) to even RECALL that, somewhere, sometime, there WAS something tat EXISTEd before the movie as if "as long as we dont make a movie of it, it did not exist", there were no "fill the name" before us ! come on all this mess really get on my nerves, especially because most company indeed tolerate or authorise fan art and dont see any problem with that, accordin to some guidelines (Tecmo for exemple dont care much about DOA heroin fan arts as long as you dont make them do dirty things... so as long as it is non x rated fan art, hey never bother you) so on one side some say: go, make fan arts we dont mind thanx for spreading our products, and on the other: som say "yes but dont host them on our place because we dont want to be sued" anyway no matter what you do, you always are inspired by what you saw and heard and read... so you will never produce a 100% original uncopyrigthed uninfringing thing you could dare to call your own !!! so in fact, just STOP trying to make things and to avoid the hurlstones !!!

well i came to poser as a hobbyist to have fun expressign mythoughts and imaginations through pictures.. i already have a job, studies and such, i dotn have time to study billion of international laws and court report and "jurisprudence" an such. If i wanted to do that, i would be studying law and become a lawyer :( so if having fun with pictures puts me in rouble and piss me off too much and is more a pain than a joy, i just stop and that's all !!! ps: joepublic: well i guess that renderosity coudl easily track down who is the owner of the primary and secondary/fake accounts and take legal or discpline sanction against all accounts at same time so , NO, i wont even bother creating new account or something. For me, renderosity will for now on be a small shoppin cart that i will let as is and wont really bother again anymore... as for other websites, i did not found any that suited my needs...
