Oliver, thanks for a great and esy to follow explanation. But what about texture mapping? AFAIK, when you create a figure on the Hier. Ed. the geometry gets included in the cr2 file as text, not pointed at an obj in some folder (as you see on poser's default characters). So, how can I use UVmapper to create the texture template? If I use it on the .obj resulting from step 3 it will work on the resulting character?

Thanks. I've been using Morph Manager for a long time. I understand the main diference with Compose is the latter being able to scale and realign. Seems useful. I'll dl it and see it by myself. I'll also check out that CR2Edit. Thanks, people. Rorschach

He's always been one of my favourite Marvel characters. And in the 60's and 70's he was the first dark one. What they have done with him on recent times isn't very interesting, though. Hope the Marvel Knights do something with him. AKAIK, there was Johnny Blaze, the "new" GR (Danny Ketch) and another one called Vengeance (the original spirit, Zarathos). It's friday, so I'm running to DL it. Rorschach

Thanks for the info. Besides scaling, is ther any other advantage over Morph manager? Rorschach

The "evil looking" skull is great, and the fire effect. But shouldn't he have a lot of spikes on his outfit?

I love the sky and the background mountains. The mist effect is great, but it looks weird on the first cactus on the left. The light colors are perfect. The pose of the front skeleton is also very good, but I would reposition the arms of the one behind the cross in a more meaningful way. The winged skeleton looks like hanging from a glider. IMHO, you should change the camera and image wide/heigh to have less empty spaces (or have them create some effect, like desolation). Overall it looks great. Rorschach

Wonderful textures on hair and face. What is that blue thing on her neck? The pupils' shining looks like textured. What is "Shadowclash" about? Rorschach

Charlie, Mr. Castle has gone through a few changes lately. First the Dixon/Romita Jr. series, in wich he stopped using his superhero-looking outfit to wear black clothing, trenchcoat and his trademark logo on the shirt (IMHO his best looking style). Then the miniseries on the Marvel Knights by Wrightson, in wich he turned into an undead avenger with ghost guns and some weird mark on his forehead. And now the new series by Dillon and Ennis (wich I'm waiting for like there's no tomorrow) with him returning to his traditional outfit. My pic is inspired by cover art from that series by Tim Bradstreet. I'll have to darken and diffuse the background. I'll look for that texture, thanks, Ghost. And the trench is not Gabe's, but the Open Man's Coat, by Traveller, I think.

I agree, but also make the eyebrows dissapear. Give them the same colors than the skin. There are several superhero MTs around there (Traveler,'s Morph World, the 3DCC), maybe one will erase the eyebrows. So far it looks great. Rorschach

She's not so smart. She kept talking about her wonderful company even after I told her to stop. I like intelligent women. Well, women well endowed in several ways, but also intelligent.
Thread: Patch question (or...problem?) | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I thought I had done it, but I just erased all the plugins files and re-extracted them from the pacth file and everything seems to work fine, so that must have been the problem. Thank you very much, Paul!

Do you want me to send you the .3ds model? It came as free stuff in a CD from a 3d magazine, so I don't know who did it (and right now also I don't know how big it is). Maybe you could convert it.

Great stuff. What about the door from the japanese Giger Bar? :) I'll try to DL it later, 4 Mb is too much fro my home connection. If you plan to put it somewhere else, could you post each prop separatedly? (please?)
