if yer talkling about viewing images on the web, it would have to do with html/flash and wav/mp3 files being embedded in code and whatnot.

i also think you need to calibrate your monitor. There aren't any solid blacks on my screen, and I've got things calibrated. Nothing goes darker than like a 70%grey or so... great job on the stitching tho bro. Only qualm about it is that the very top stitch is somewhat visible still around his collar bone... though if I didnt know it was stitched i prolly wouldn't have noticed.

yup. no such thing as candidacy. if you think it belongs in the PS forum (prviding PS played a decent role in the final product) go for it

640x480 are what's being put out right now. These things aren't meant for hardcore photography, but internet photo albums are fast replacing traditional albums. With an internet album , pics can be viewed from anywhere at any time, and while the print quality of these pictures is absolute garbage, on-screen display is a quite decent quality. Instead of buying the 400$ 2.2 megapixel fuji camera (where the quality lands on the line between display and print quality), teenagers and business people may very well prefer to have a camera cell phone instead. The cellphones themselves are quite small in comparison to what was out 2 years ago, plus they take pictures that are decent for onscreen display. The popularity of these things is going to skyrocket in the next year and a half. And even with the semingly hefty price tag, cell phones themselves (the higher end ones) don't cost much less anyways, and digicams cost a pretty penny too. For all the features included on these phones, you get a pretty good deal (this is in comparison to other cell phones and individual digi cams, both of which are already overpriced), which means the popularity of these gadgets are going to skyrocket in the next year and a half, especially when they start putting 2 mega pixel censors in them, which you can bet they will as internet and broadband bandwith gets bigger and bigger to transmit the images themselves. That also means older models, the ones coming out right now, will cost even less, and you can bet they will still be sold for a little while to come. No clue where I'm going with all this... but watch out Mitch, the celltographers may be comin to the forum and gallery soon...
Thread: how do i get these 2 images to match up & merge as a panorama? | Forum: Photography
while getting the colours to match, if you're having problems because you can get one set to match but not the other on the same pic (like sky vs. sheds), look into try the history brush. -right below the regular brush, has a little swirl on it- what this'll do is paint what was 'once there', by selecting which step in the files history to paint from. If you can get one set of colours right once, and then get the other set right on the second try, select the older state in the history (there's a little empty icon next to each state), and "paint" over the area that you want to revert backwards... sounds complicated, but its an incredible tool. and if that isn't the case, well, heh, I dunno, just takin a guess is all. also, use all the tools if you aren't meaning the colour balance, curves, contrast, levels and saturation, all found in image-> adjust.

word of advice: The Cloning Brush is your best friend here. Use a hard clone brush, and swivel back and forth between the two. Also, make sure to clone from many different areas of the image, cuz even if you do use the clone tool, if you only use it near the seam itself, it'll still be really visible that the images were "glued" together if you don't. also... the three sheds... two of them are a lot "bluer" then the other (the ones on the right). Might wanna tweak them colours a little more...

Thread: Irregular fill area using a gradient - HELP! | Forum: Photoshop
im prettt sure it can be done, however Im unsure how to do it. if you were to use Adobe Illustrator, you can use gradient meshes to bend gradient any any amount of varying directions. You can then export as a tif file for bryce or some final tweaking in photoshop. photoshop doesnt, however, have gradient meshes, that i know.
