Thread: What Male Poser figure do you use? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
David and M2. I don't like M3. James and Koji are good too but their mesh tend to break more than the unimesh characters in not so extreme poses...

I really like the Ringmaster. Looking forward to see all the other characters and models. Was this inspired by the TV series Carnivale?

Cool! Is Filty the clown an add on for the Ringmaster? Are they based on the same mesh? Could you post a picture without texture and clothes to see the base version that we could use to create new characters from? Thanks

They are the "Amante Hair" and the "Michael 3 Long Beard" made by AprilYSH and sold at DAZ3D.Thread: New Fantasy Release at Xurge 3D! | Forum: MarketPlace Showcase
On the store front page there is a note that says: Important: The credit card system is set up for US only. Paypal is available for International orders. I tried a couple times to purchase some of the sci-fi items but my card was not processed. I didn't see the note at first and Xurge pointed that to me in e-mail. If things have changed that would be great.

Any chance that you could add the option to pay with credit card to people outside the USA that don't use Paypal? There is a lot of great stuff on your store that I can't buy...
Thread: M3 and David, what can they share??? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Also with utilities like Unimesh Morph Transfer and Morph Manager (the latter to transfer the corresponding morph channels) you can convert Mike or the Freak morphs to use with David. Or the other way around.
Thread: DAVID AND STEPH PETITE FOR ONLY $1.99 EACH??? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Dave-so: You can use Mike 3 textures on David, infact I got David standard res textures as part of DAZ David Bundle but I never use them and always apply M3 hi res version to him. svdl: No, Mike 3 and David are grouped in adifferent way. It is the same difference you have between Victoria 3 and Mike 3. But if you own UMT (Unimesh Morph Transfer) you will be able to convert Mike morphs to use them with David. But it must be said that David Morphs are much, much better than Mike 3 morphs. And there are some cheap add on products like JPeter Movie Men Series here in the Marketplace that use David Morphs and are among my favourite purchases ever.

You'll need to download the service Releases for both the head and body moph paks. I think you will find them at the bottom of the respective product pages.

I can confirm that hongyu's MiniDV video camera is an excellent product. One of my favourite purchase. You coul try the one at 3dcafe (free stuff/3d models/electrical). It is free but not posable or textured I think.Thread: Daz figures Going FBX!! | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I'm interested in this too, but there is no preview image (or better animations) to see how well the rigging is converted.
Thread: Your Opinion: DAZ Platinum Club worth it? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I've been a PC member from the beginning and and I'm still very satisfied about it. I also like James/Koji and Apollo Maximus, but my favourite characters are still DAZ David and Maichael 2 and Victoria 3 and Stephanie Petite so I tend to buy more at DAZ than in other 3d stores. The Platinum Club has been and continue to be a constant resource for clothing (complete with the standard DAZ figure Morphs) and lots of high quality environment and furniture sets for just 1.99 the piece. Yes, there are weeks that they put in the store something I don't need but there are a lot of benefits in a Platinum Club membership and even if sometime they make a temporary promotion and let everyone buy in the Platinum Club section at 1.99 I don't feel as if it has no value. For example the additional 30% discount on DAZ originals is great. I would have not purchased Michael 3 when it wasn't free without the additional 30% discount and I got The Freak and Stephanie free just because I purchased M3 during his introductio period. Same thing for other great DAZ original products. So in the long run for me the membership has more than paid for itself. I have a lifetime membership to Poserworld too and it is another great deal. It is less DAZ oriented as has been pointed out, so eventually you would find more cloth for james and Apollo there. The only problem I see with Poserworld is that the conversions of the clothes and the morphs are made with program like Tailor and Wardrobe wizard so sometime they are not perfect. This doesn't mean they are bad, just that they are not as good as custom made morphs or clothes made specifically for one figure. After all Steve Shanks, owner of PoserWorld is a one man army and has not a squad like the platinum club that creates the clothes for him so it is inevitable. On the other hand most of his recent (female) clothes include some posing morphs made with cloth simulation that add realistic effects for those users that do not own Poser 5 or 6 yet. On the plus side you will find clothes at Poserworld that you'll never find anywhere else just because they are too niche for other stores, lots of real world contemporary stuff instead to fantasy and sci-fi. And that is GOOD. And Poserworld is not only clothing stuff, but environments, vehicles, useful props and textures too. So at the end I would say that they are different deals, both great and if you could afford both of them you would not regreat it.

There is a new Z-Brush forum at Poserpros and the moderator is Stonemason. Maybe you will find the answer to your question there. There is also a thread with useful links there. This site uses cookies to deliver the best experience. Our own cookies make user accounts and other features possible.
