Thread: Getting Started | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Reading your manual and just playing around in the environment are good ways to learning. There are tutorials somewhere here in what is called "backroom" but I've yet to figure out how to get to it :/ Most of what I learned was just playing around and seeing what different menues, buttons, and dials did.

I definitely don't see you or any other folk that sell their items as MGB. There's a lot of hard work that goes into what you folk make. And if it hasn't been said lately, the free stuff that is provided..it's more appreciated than you can ever imagine. I'm not exactly rich, so whenever poser 5 comes out, it's a pretty sure bet that I won't be investing in it right away which means that I will still be needing hair and clothing, and..etc etc for poser 4. From what I understood from the one thread, P4 models will still be working in Poser 5. This means to me, that if I buy things now, they will still be useable with the newer version. Even if Poser 5 has hair items and such, we still like varity :)

Thread: Is Poser 4 supposed to be this hard to learn? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I agree with the folk here, you are taking on too much at a time :/ I understand how frustrating it is for you tho. The first day I got my Poser 4 I just sat there and cried because I was so frustrated! (and that was with reading the manual haha). I made such a mess out of my directory because I sure didnt' know what the heck a CR2 or PP2 file was or even where they belonged. What I ended up doing was just "play" and have fun with the program! You'll learn a lot this way and get a good feel for it :) Here is a link that I found useful and hope it will be for you too. It explains what the different files are :) http://www.grottoazura.com/Products/Tutorials/PoserFiles/index.html Hang in there ...it does get easier!
