Since April 07 I'm reinstalling all my Poser Stuff on a new machine, item by item, manually, by hand, changing each and every folder name to something more logical and easier to find, getting rid of tons of !!!!! and even more tons of folders within folders  -   well I try to reinstall at least the newest and most used items and use a backup copy of my old runtime when needing other stuff, or it would take me until 2037 to get ready  -  if ever.

Don't know about the clothes, but in P6/P7 most of my people load slightly below the ground. Got so used to lift them up a little, I never thought about looking for a solution. If there is one I'd like to find out too...

I also seized the moving to a new PC to organize my runtimes new (still at it).

Would love to see a program do it, but I think there's no other way than unzip (or run the exe) and than tediously rename and move all the newly installed stuff to the right folders. For example, I name the texture folders exactly like the product name followed by the creator's name. Originally they are often named first after the creator or they are in a subsubsubfolders like "texturesmilleniumfiguresfemalefiguresV4MollystexturefilesKarlotta" and so on. Never to find again. In my V4 runtime these textures would be in "texturesbodykarlotta_Molly". I know that Poser has probably to look a moment longer after the textures, when applying the MAT pose, but I find them in a moment too, if I want to change something.

The same applies to all folder and item names. If I would't rename and reorganize them after installation, I would drown in cryptic subfolders and never find the stuff again. Example: "props!!!fritz3drecreational propsM3 sportsBasketball" goes to "propssportBasketball_fritz3d".

In summer  06 Bob Dylan played here in Gelsenkirchen. That was the harshest and most restrictive policy I ever experienced. Every Person, bag, rucksack was searched. Absolutely no camera was allowed. My husband helped me use the confusion, I created, when I refused to throw away my water, to smuggle in the camera (and a water bottle). Because the alternative was to walk half an hour back to the car and miss the beginning of the concert. But I didn't use the camera. For one I was much to angry and second we soon saw the security people guiding a man wiith a camera out.

Thank god metal bands are much more friendly and relaxed!

Tarja was very special and I thought it would be very difficult if not impossible to replace her.  But Anette has a very beautiful clear voice and it seems to work really good with her. I've heard the new Cd lots of times from the first day it came out and I like the new Nightwish sound.

And I think I understand, why they wouldn't choose a classical singer again...

The Pendulum they used for the front cover is available at Daz3D. I used it in my image "Time Chop". The first moment I saw it, it reminded me of Edgar Allen Poe's story  "The Pit and the Pendulum". The Band's songwriter said, this story inspired him when writing the first song on the album.

At first it read: "Hair fits only V4". So they've changed it now.  

There are some really big questions that move me these days:

• Shall I still buy some of the wonderful stuff for V3 that I collected in my wishlists in different stores?
• Can I afford a new figure - plus her morphs - plus a texture to make her look human - plus a dress to hide her nudity - plus a wig for her bald head - and of course some decent pairs of shoes for her?
• And an  upgrade to P7?
• And a new PC with loads of memory and harddrive space to make P7 work and to store all the runtime content?
• And all this so close to christmas?

No, of course no. I'll have to set all my hopes on the fortunes of lottery. Maybe the next jackpot will hit my purse.

Maybe V4 will be free (or nearly free) too? It seems a good marketing strategy to give a basic item for small money to make people spend loads of money on additional items. The hair (the one that only fits V4) already shows that one can dump all V3 stuff when upgrading to V4 because it will not fit the new figure. If upgrading at all....
