I still use Miki 1 for the reason that I prefer some of the skins I have for her over the ones I have for Miki 2, depending on the project I'm working on.

Saintfox has Sajjan and Li-Lian for Miki 2, I haven't got Sajjan yet (she's firmly wishlisted for when I need her) but Li-Lian renders beautifully.

I don;t know if those links help any but I can safely recommend those to you from personal experience of either the product itself or the level of craftmanship of the vendor.

If they actually use the name Vogue then they could be in a lot of trouble over that.  However, if it is a generic fashion/lifestyle magazine front cover layout with a name that is not a play on Vogue or Cosmopolitan then that would be entirely acceptable providing that no copyrighted materials are not used in it's creation.  After all, if the layout of such a magazine cover was copyrightable then we would only have one or two magazines in the local newsagents, instead of which there are plenty to choose from with new ones being published every month.

Quite a big thing IMO.

The rules of being a vendor here are quite clear and those rules include that we do not discuss information we are privy to in the Vendor's forum in public and that all communications between a vendor and the admins remains private.  After issues last year it was brought to the attention of all vendors that the marketplace admins would exercise zero tolerance in this area and you would receive bans from the site for doing so.

Not to mention if anyone posts segments of a private email without prior permission then it is, at the very least, unethical.  This is especially so when it is a business email and that is what any communication from a marketplace admin is.

Sorry to sound harsh but the personal lives of people who vend here should have no bearing on their products.  Whether any vendor has personal problems is not any concern of mine and I do not think that it is advisable to discuss anyone's personal and private life in the public forae.  

If they choose to try and make a living from Poser products that is their decision and theirs alone and to publicise such reasons in such an emotive way rubs me up the wrong way, maybe it is the great British reserve that we hear so much about or maybe it is just that I do not like emotional blackmail and that is what it smacks of to me.

Texture Filtering often improves the look of eyelashes, it may make some things look absolutely terrible but it is great for getting eyelashes to look the ticket.

I have the Total Updo and the ponytail loads as a seperate prop so lowering would, theoretically not be a problem.  IIRC every hair piece is a seperate prop (yes they are all .pp2 format) so you can mix and match and move to suit your need.

I never reinstalled it when I replaced my PC at the beginning of 2008 and I didn't realise until I went looking for it 'cos of this thread blush

That's a newer set.  

I have a set by her called True 2 Life Eyes (in fact I have 3 - one fr the Mil3 females, one for the G2 females and a V4 one) which I think are actually nicer than that pack - no idea where the V4 ones have gone though because the G2 ones are at Runtime DNA and the Mil3 ones are in the store here.

No problems - best of luck with it.  

Lighting is one of the hardest things and I tend to start with a set up by someone - if you're thinking of buying a set I recommend Saintfox's lights or the Lightworks series at Runtime DNA - and then adjust them and add to and take way to suit my needs.

The lighting in Poser and D|S are poles apart, the same principles apply to all lighting but it does behave substantially differently in Poser.

I would recommend searching the free stuff here for some light sets and then you can get more of an idea how it works in Poser.

Ahhhhh, when you said they went all white I thought you meant that they were entirely white with no iris or pupil showing (I've had that in the past thanks to losing transparency on the cornea).

It could be a lack of detailing on the actual eye map that leads to them looking all white or, as you said, you may need to adjust your lighting so that it doesn't shine straight into her eyes as it seems to here and so washes the texture out.

You can add new characters to the list in IPB, I've added dresses and allsorts so that I can save posing morphs for them in the past.  Right now I don't have it installed so I can't check for how you do it and I can't remember but I seem to recall it is just a "few clicks".
