@Wahnfried: We should open an own website: Rent an US-citizen ggg. If you like we can call them all Jack rofl Any suggestions what these guys have in advantage? ;-)

Many thanks from me, too! Especially the second is a wonderful inspiration - and the third a way to learn such modelling.

Want to ask the same question like Claymore rofl Shall I tell you a secret? Most German guys dance like steam rollers, are swamped with all things concerning the household - and never allow them to drive your car, most of them think they must win the next formula 1 race with it gg. Did you know that Germany is the only country in the world with no general speed limit on the highways? So you can imagine what would happen to you and your brand new BMW, if you rent a German rofl again. Ok, there exists exeptions, my hubbie for example, but he's not for rent ;-). P.S: Imho this offer is a wonderful fake!
Thread: Sorta OT, what do your friends family think of your Brycing. | Forum: Bryce
I've the great luck that my husband loves my pics and since I've done some technical renders for him he's absolutely fond of Bryce. Meanwhile he got used of the fact that I forget everything other around me when I'm busy with rendering. My mom is really funny. She's an excellent painter with oil and got absolutely no sense for technical things. You could tell her the stupid joke about the difference between RAM and ROM and she wouldn't know that something like this even exists. So she calls it perverse typing in some numbers for positioning an object, but she likes my pictures, too. And my friends ... some of them like it, some not but they all came to the conclusion that rendering must be a very difficult and complicated thing. Well, I leave them in their belief g.

Congrats, you both! I'm still testing the demo version but I think ZBrush will be my next purchase (just waiting till the Dollar will decrease a bit more towards the Euro gg). It's funny but this prog is the first modeller I'm able to handle - although (or maybe therefore g) it's absolutely different from every other modelling prog. Rochr, please don't miss to show us your progresses, can't wait to see what breathtaking things you will create with it!

Go to a pet shop and ask if the brontosaurus egg you ordered last week is already available ...

Thread: Vue 4 at $69! - A Nice Complement for Bryce | Forum: Bryce
ok, Vue is a wonderful programm, no question, and you can do really breathtaking images with it. But you can do it with Bryce as well and as long as both proggies are not really compatible with each other, I better spare my money for a good modeller (ZBrush is my latest favourite but 400 is hard stuff!).
But at the really moment you can import Vue trees and plants into Bryce, I'll buy it - and not a single day earlier!

Thread: October Challenge - Vote here & Now!!!! | Forum: Bryce
Jaymonjay - 3 points - for the most humorous pic. Vasquez - 2 points - nothing moves faster ;-) Originalmoron - 1 point - for the most 'speedy' feeling. Hon mentions to Kemal, ICM, rj001, TheBryster, Shadowdragonlord, Jausse, Claymor... unfortunately there are only 3 votes possible.

Can't help but this is rediculous! Are we all sharing a wonderful hobby or are we going to wage a war? Mayaers against Rhinos against Brycers against the rest of the world - it's quite boring! Why wasting precious time to persuade some short-sighted guys that every programm has its strengths and weaknesses - and that doing a good pic only depends on the skills you can handle your tools. And if some people in their most elitist Maya-, Rhino- or whatsoever-heaven think that Bryce is only a second class programm and such easy to handle, that every newbie can come up with a complex self-modeled starship in less than 2 hours, leave them in their erroneous belief. We know it better!
