Hi Tom, they were sodium street lights, 3 of them, but they were hardly casting any light at all to the naked eye. As I stood on one end of the bridge, I could bearly see the other end save for the silouette created by the distant lights of the town. It was all down to the 20second exposure.
Thread: Critique..BW or color and improvements in conversion? | Forum: Photography
For me it's the B&W image. IMHO it has more atmosphere than the colour one. In the colour image, my eye is distracted towards the reflection of the building(?)or whatever it is, (there's a tree on top of it, or is it a tree? see what I mean about distracting lol), where as in the B&W image it's almost gone. Maybe a little more sharpness and contrast added in postwork, not too much though :)

Jeez LP, the guy must be crazy, my old cell broke, I got this as an upgrade, retails around 499.00, I paid 7.99 for it lol! You just gotta work the cell companies a little. I couldn't agree more, they will NEVER replace a camera, at the end of the day it's cell phone :)

I bought the cell because it's a PDA too, so I only have to carry one item. The camera wasn't really a deciding factor in the purchase, however recently it became useful when I was travelling around trying to locate hotels for a shoot. I took the pic using my cell cam, emailed it to the client and had a decision in minutes. This way if they showed interest in a particular Hotel, I could follow it up whilst I was there. Saved the client and myself time and expense.
