depending on the scene you could make some droplets give them a liquid material and position them so they looked right. Not sure on how best to model each drop maybe some one else can tell us.

yeah they used to have one but it was a dead link. I have been trying all the sites for about 2 weeks. . . I may have to break down and decide how to make one.

when ever i do a fresh install of bryce I just backup preset folder to another drive, actually I back it up there every couple of days. and after the install I simply replace the new with the old. I wish bryce had drag and drop libraies like a photoshop plugin folder. . . wouldn't that be nice. . .

i am working on the tutorial, i however got swamped with photo restoration work enough for 2 weeks or so. If some people want to help. i will set the scenes up and you all can render them for me.

i have taken a new approach to caving. I created a latice and gone into the editor and started from scratch and drawn it as if was pouring liquid from a bottle. (peter sharpe's tutorial for reference) I lengthened it to be one side of the cave. I made another one the same length and grouped the 2 and now have a long tunnel very cave like. I have also added stalagmites in the same manner as you described, and rocks and sand for the floor.
Thread: spot light question | Forum: Bryce
yes and there should be a big change between 5 and 6 if this works anything like lighting in photography. If you start with a setting of 5 and jump to 6 you have increased the light by 20%. However moving from 99 to 100 is only a 1% increase.
Thread: Lightning??? Is it do able? | Forum: Bryce
well i figured it out. I will post some pics when i get around to the long rneders. This is what i am doing. I have take the lightning downloads from the above source and stretched radial lights to be long and skinny put them togeather in the same fashion as the bolts overlapped the the lights and the bolts and grouped them btw I used a volumetric material for the lightning bolts. I am still working ou the kinks if anyone else tries this let me know i am curious how your efforts come out.
