not the easiest interface though, but once you get going you dispose of the interface anyway and animate 2 handed: one on the keyboard on on the mouse. fast and sweet. hell of a support group, tons of scripts. you can make games and stuff with it too but i've never gone that way. i hope to someday...

any way i ilike the st judes commercials- they're like little real life soap operas. some survive some dont. it's very poignant. it breaks your heart to get to know one of those little kiddies only to see the child not make it. but enheartening to see the ones that do make it

i figured it out that way but it's crass of me to say that now
so here's crass
but it's their job to report it. i hear about it on fox which some in my family have on all day. it was carmaggedon to them, the internet will shut down. panic and doom is their jerry springeresque bread and butter.
what cracks me up the most about this kind of stuff is it always seems to escape people that we can repair things when they break. having said that i did make sure my devices were up to date. spyware and malware is the antivirus world's responsibility right?

in my experience there is no specific list of the number of the vertex in the obj file. it's simply implied in the order that it is listed. i use crimson editor to check which number each vert line refers to.
or you could copy only the v lines to a text file and open in a spreadsheet to find line numbers.
usually when i create an obj in blender, the only data that comes out is v lines and f lines, the v that is the vert index and f tells which verts join in what order to make the faces. other data is generated by poser.
i'm gonna head over to the python area and ask for this script.
