I was about to ask the same thing. That's a huge list of downloads that got reset. Like you, I only redownloaded the app and render node. We probably only needed the app. ?

Thread: Poser characters are red | Forum: Carrara
I realize we're talking about Carrara, but he's using Poser content in Carrara, correct? Older Poser content does not use shaders like the later versions. I would think whether or not the Poser items use shaders or not could make a difference. No?

Hmmm, only 16% off and the sale expires on the 31st? Guess they didn't want you to use your Jan. vouchers on it. So besides being apparently faster, do folks who've tried it think this version is a good upgrade value? What are the key improvements? Not much listed on that page. Does anyone know if they added support for 3Dconnxion's Space Navigator?

Thread: Question about the Halloween Contest | Forum: Contest Announcements
Ummm, I'm seeing an entry of 676x816 pixels. It's still a wee bit too big according to the rules. I almost hate to ask you to try resizing it and uploading it again. :blushing:

Thread: Question about the Halloween Contest | Forum: Contest Announcements
You are correct! This is confusing. I just tried it too and got the same thing. Apparently, you must browse to your image and select it for both the "File" and the "Image" box, plus a thumbnail for the thumbnail box to successfully submit an entry. Sheesh! I see why you had trouble with this.

Thread: Question about the Halloween Contest | Forum: Contest Announcements
I'm sorry you found the entry page confusing. All 3 contest catagories were setup the same. The "File" box with a 10MB maximum is for animation entries. If you are entering the 2D/photography catagory, you need to upload an "Image" and a "Thumbnail" only. I have deleted your entry and you should now be able to submit a new one. I will suggest to admin that they look into allowing you to edit submissions until they are approved. Once approved though, you would not be allowed to make any changes for obvious reasons.
Sincerely,

Thread: Renderosity Site Problem? | Forum: Carrara
One of the programers has suggested that the problem might be due to something with the graphics used in this forum. Mark is back and said he'd inverstigate it. Hopefully, the problem will be resolved shortly.

Thread: Renderosity Site Problem? | Forum: Carrara
I've posted the issue to the programmers and pointed them to this thread. I'll let you know if I hear anything about it. I use IE and have not had that happen. I believe one of our moderators who uses Firefox has also experienced this, so I don't think it's necassarily browser related. For the longest time, whenever I went to 3Dcommune after midnight, their front page always looked like that. I seem to recall it took them a year or more to fix it. That's probably not a very comforting thought, huh?

Periodically even staff members have experienced something like that. I believe the programmers have looked in to it once, twice, or trice? Typically, whatever the glitch is, it goes away quickly. If you like, I can report it for you if it doesn't clear up shortly?
