No - its not appearing.
I wonder if its because of the way I loaded it up - it was just a pz3 file, and when it loaded, it was grey, no skin textures, and some of the component parts of the original model missing (pubic har, actual hai, etc...) due to the fact that I haven't yet installed everything on this new PC.
I onl really need the head morphs saving, then I can just rebuild the rest of Carmel on a new V4.2 (I guess I am wondering if there is some essential part of Carmel missing which is preventing my saving her). Is there a way I can just save the head? I used to know all this, but it seems poser is a quick skill-drop thing, and I have been away for the best part of two years.

Quote - Yea you need to save it some folder. Either just in Characters (which will in time make a messed up folder look L) or just as DarkEdge daid, click the Carmel folder and save it there :)

so...am I right in thinking that the only way to get Genesis figures on my version of Poser (Poser 8) is to dl Daz Studio, and then install the supplied Genesis from there into poser?
Can I then use V5 stuff in Poser?
(sorry - I have been of the grid for a while - Last time I was around, V4.2 was the latest thing)

Oh no - I tried rendering and all I get now is a black screen!
What have I done?
I've even tried 'restore defaults' on Render settings, but it's still black

Quote - Once you have your model/prop selected keep the shift key held down while using the morph tool. It locks the selection so you don't accidentally pick a different object while you are morphing.

Hi,
I've just tried to change my settings to your general settings, but I didn't have a HDRI option and in the D3D settings box, it wouldn't let me select 'raytracing' into green. Also , I couldn't see what your DPI settings were on the pic.
(I use Poser 8)

This was a great tutorial - I've been having a go after trolling, and, (using paint.net) - I don't have photoshop at work) have saved my modded clothing (using Lil Lipper Bikini). but, as I am using DS at work, rather than Poser, as at home I am a bit unfamiliar as to where to load up the new image - the terminology in DS seeems very different to Poser - perhaps you could tell me which to do? I've replaced the Property called 'normal mapping' and the removed cloth appears instead to be black, not transparent. Any ideas?

Gosh - I don't even know what they are, so I can't say!
I do have seperate runtimes, so maybe it all needs to be in the root poser runtime?
