Thanks everyone. I always try and carry my camera with me, just in case I catch a glimpse. We where driving home after Church on Sunday and I got a glimpse of the hawk. So here we go jumping out of the van, grabbing the camera and he flies away. Jump back in the van and follow him around, had to shoot from inside the van, as this guy/girl flies away at the sight of my camera. LOL I can not tell you how many times I have made my daughter laugh, by jumping out of the car and running after a hawk. (I am a 295lb old man, so running is not exactly what I do)

Doesn't it just drive you crazy. Been chasing a hawk for months. Grabbed a shot the other day, but power lines were in the way. Here is hoping for that one good shot!! Keep at it.

Since most of what I shoot now are for sale, I always crop to standard print size. I have done a couple of odd sizes, but for the most part, crop to print size.

TwoPynts - Thanks for the comments. I went back and forth about having her turn more to the camera or not. Went with this pose as I think it gives her more of a look of contemplation as she is reflecting on her thoughts. I has hoping to get her reflection in the water, but the lake level is down due to lack of rain. cynlee - Thank you, I was pleased, and so was she. There are a few things I would do different, such as using another light or reflector to add a little more life to her eyes. But over all I am happy. Zacko - Thanks, my favorite also. Simon - #2 is my wife's favorite. Thanks! Brenda - Good luck on your shoots! Looking forward to seeing your work! Doug - Thanks! cbender - The last one, has the best lighting for the eyes by far. I have to agree with Onslow. Something has happen to your profile or Do you have proof colors selected under the View menu? Since this only happens in PS, then it must be related to color management.
