Subject: Been missing everyone - Just wanted to share!!

Well I have not been around much lately, not even lurking. I have just been way to busy!!! But I just had to share my exciting news!! I started a part-time Photography business a few months ago, and things are really picking up. I am a full time computer programmer during the day, (work from home) and photographer at night. I have been shooting mainly sporting events and have a few shots used by the newspaper. Just a couple of weeks ago, I shot photos for Citizen's National Bank, which where used in a add for the bank. I have also been asked to shoot some product shots that will be used for a billboard ad!! It is cool to see my photo's published!! I am really excited at how well my part time business has grown. And to celebrate, today I order a new Canon 1D MarkII N DSLR. I can't wait to get it, will tomorrow ever come!! LOL!! The downside to this is I don't have free time, and haven't got to hang out here. But I am having fun!!

Cool to hear the AWESOME news Randy! Its inspiring when a forum member is sucessful in Photography! Something I am striving for (hopefully someday!)

Get a pic of the billboard when ya get a chance!

Whoo-hoo!!!!! Huge congrats, Randy!!!!! Sounds so exciting and like so much fun!!!! Do you still have time to shoot birds??? :) stop in again when you have time!!!!! :)

Joe - Thanks, I pick up the first couple of products to day, and will try and shoot the products this weekend. When the billboard is finish you bet I will grab a photo of it. Doug - Thanks! Shelia - Thanks. I tried to photograph a hawk Sunday, but it was really to far away. I haven't had time lately to photograph birds much though.

Well, you know how much i always have adored your bird images!!!! but as long as you're having fun, guess that's all that matters!!!!! and hey, you're making money at you're hobby too, so even better!!!!! :) can't wait to see your pics!! :)
